I was so excited to see you two get to this episode! This is probably one of my fav of the earlier episodes since I think this (and the next episode) is really where the series starts to hit its stride. What’s even better is that this episode realllllly showed how everyone in this pretend family truly do care for each other, particularly Loid since he hides his emotions better :) And lol no, the guy’s enthusiasm is not sexual 😆 he’s just….very passionate about his job?

Serena

i really think the show gets even better from here on 🥲❤️ i love it so badly

Aurayaya

I swear this is so funny xD

Eden College actually is from kindergarten to high school I think? students attend when they're from 6-19 years old. It was mentioned that Loid's mission (Operation Strix) is a longterm mission and the first step is Anya surviving the school.

This episode was the best 😂

2023-01-20 08:06:02 In Europe and especially where I grew up and my environment. The top schools (tend to be boarding schools), which normally are extremely big as they have to house students & living quarters but also have classrooms. A lot of these types of school accept kids from 5-7 year olds and go all the way up to 18. It’s quite a big thing in Europe. If you get into these schools, it just screams “status, money and power”… This got me thinking that they based this anime’s, location on Germany? And added the UK school system into the mix (maybe it’s a thing in Germany too! Hope any German Patreons can confirm, if they have these types of schools over there too!)

I also think that the setting seems heavily inspired by Germany. As someone who's from Germany, the only boarding schools and elite schools that i can think of start from fifth grade. The school reminded me more of the boarding school that the children of my host family attended, when i was living in Ireland.
