Haha you haaaave to watch the dance performances by the Boyz and oneus. Boyz did No Diggity and Oneus did SexyBack. Oneus took "ok I get it, you're sexy now" and just set it on fire 🤣

It’s a shame Hui came back from his military service to rejoin Pentagon for such a short period of time. He’s now gonna be COMPETING on Boys Planet. He’s pulling a Yujin except his group is actually promoted better AND he’s a fairly successful producer too (literally having produced songs for MNET competition shows and groups before)

hey pd! im not sure if you're aware of this but hui is actually participating on boys planet, which is airing on the second of february. their signal song has already been released and i highly recommend checking it out! it seems like they've decided to scrap the concept that girls planet 999 had and are making this season more produce-like. heres the link if you're interested! https://youtu.be/Mjr47ikehQE (theres a few other already debuted trainees participating, such as hwanhee and xiao from up10tion, and woonggi and jerome who previously left to1. this season looks like a lot of fun already!)

I can't wait for your reaction to SBS Gayo Daejeon, all the performances were great and fromis had an INSANE performance of DM+Rewind and Saerom made her return from hiatus, which I believe was for personal reasons. It was honestly super emotional to watch at the time seeing them together again

SBS Gayo: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlZ0W36dVvKE3v1eNGtEWrvm9C9-KiVfF Regarding the live vocal, what you said is true for almost all award show and just music show in general, I feel like the live AR is loud for the offline audience and it's at the forefront for the online audience so it's really covering their live vocal most of the time except when they sang really loud the live AR is covering them. TXT once said recently that the transmission at the shows is not good that's why we can't really hear them. Also for all collaboration or special stages they pre-recorded it so what the online audience sees is the pre-recorded one and the audience there see them perform too but with different outfit and lighting etc. I think SBS has no pre-recorded performance so it's all live and MBC is just all pre-recorded stages if I'm not wrong.

It’s just VERY weird. He’s not only one of Pentagon’s main vocalists but he’s also the leader. Him participating, in my mind, would make more sense if other members were participating too (kinda like how 4/5 of NUEST were on Produce 101 S2), since that way promotes the group more too. Because if Hui does well, he’ll either debut in the new group and not be able to promote with Pentagon OR he won’t make it and will promote solo (like how the Up10tion boys for Produce X 101 are doing now).

There was actually a few missing, the ones that stuck out to me was Oneus doing a dance cover of SexyBack - Justin Timberlake and The Boyz doing the same for No Diggity - Blackstreet. This was fromis_9’s first ever gayo and they did so well :’). Romsae was on hiatus for 2 months but she returned right before the SBS performance…which was even better than this imo

yanan’s been back in china since earlier this year initially bc of family, but it’s been almost a year now and we haven’t gotten any news as to how he’s doing besides his own sns updates and we don’t know when he’s going to comeback

pentagon we were missing yanan and hongseok! the bridge was different because originally it was their part and kino and hui covered it in this performance, yanan’s still in china after going back there earlier this year for family, but he’s most likely been held back bc of the covid situation there right there, but cube hasn’t been giving us updates, hongseok was enlisted and was set to discharge november 2023 but recently got discharged due to depression and agoraphobia that he got while in the army :(( and like other people mentioned hui’s been performing with pentagon since he was discharged (no he wasn’t in feelin like) but now he’s on boys planet which doesn’t make any sense to us :’)

I don’t know who you’re referring to, but how can you not talk about and like Jongho? I noticed his vocals the most when I first discovered and started listening to ATEEZ. But like overall, they’re such a talented group that have so much to give. We ATINY are so lucky to have them and are always in for a treat!

Thanks for replying. I knew about Hui and Hongseok, but not about Yanan. Honestly, there’s always so much that constantly goes on within the kpop industry that I’m always overwhelmed and have a hard time keeping track/catching up with the latest news (both major and minor news).

I barely see Oneus attend award shows but when they do they always make sure to leave an IMPACT. Their stage presence is just insane and I hope more feel realize that because their music are also top notch.

ATEEZ did well per usual. hope you react to their comeback Halazia soon! the mv is soo good. there's a dance practice and live stages already. I also want to recommend their SBS radio appearance bc you'll be surprised just how well this song fits all their live vocals. it's a single song with remixes as the b-sides and an outro, so you don't need to do a listening party.

If it's just a project group & it works the same as the P101 groups, then if Hui makes it in he'll be barred from promoting w/ Pentagon for some period of time.
