I don't know if you've filmed them already, as I know you were planning to, but VIKI does have the full shows for the three festivals KBS, SBS, and MBC if you have that at all. The playlists don't seem to be as linear

Le Sserafim kinda reminds me of Jihyo in how they really seem to genuinely enjoy performing- they just look so happy and comfortable on stage

I’m not even all the way through yet but just had to come and say that you HAVE to watch LSSFM’s dance practices for all of their award show stages after you watch them. The camera’s capture none of the true magic. Not to spoil it, but their MMA performance is genuinely one of the best award show stages I have ever seen in my five years of being a kpop stan. They are taking the crowns as the award show queens, and each show the stages just got more creative and they got more confident as they went.

It was. They announced she left less than 24 hours before this performance. It’s very possible they planned this performance with Jinni, which is why it felt so disjointed.

PD you made me cry… your section on ITZY really resonated with myself. They are my favourite GG. They actually are the reason I became a KPOP fan. A few weeks before ITZY debut their first teaser dropped and came on my recommended YouTube page. I loved it so much I went and watched all their predebut stuff the members did individually and then saw them debut and grow into this amazing, beautiful and talented group. It’s so weird how on my first watch I ALSO felt emotional when seeing them BELT live… and I weirdly also started to tear up at the sneakers part!!!! It’s so therapeutic in a way to FINALLY see someone else feel these emotions towards them… they have been through hell and back this year… With so many amazing groups debuting left and right and centre. Itzy has Always been a target of hate since day 1 and they have been through the GUTTER. IVE and ITZY honestly deserve the world and for people to treat them better and with respect. I hope people grow up and just enjoy the damn music and variety they do. And if you don’t then there’s HUNDREDS OF other groups you can turn to 😭🫶 But in a weird way I understand WHY ITZY gets hate… they set the STANDARD in a way for the 4th Generation. They where the blueprint in my eyes for this coming generation. Every group since has always had to live up to ITZY and many will only feel satisfied when someone new comes and challenges the blueprint. The emotional feeling I felt… in this specific performance… was the sense of pride for them… but also in a way it felt like ITZY was FIGHTING? Or showing this desperation to prove everyone who hated them wrong… All the “they’re ugly”, “they can’t sing and they can only dance” “Lia can’t sing”, “Ryujin can’t rap” “Chaeryeong is ugly”, “Yuna is a pick me” “Yeji is a bad leader” “ITZY flopped” BULLLLLSHITTT I’ve seen this year ALONE thrown at itzy… this performance to me, made me cry. I felt this was itzy saying “🖕” to all those comments and haters. They KNOW people disliked sneakers but they sang that song with their chest and pride. So proud of them.

I hope no one takes this as hate in any way, but I just thought I’d mention that most of these stages weren’t live, just since for example pd said that nct dream were live. It can be hard to tell, especially these days. Btw, Sm singers have largely not been live on music shows since before the pandemic, so if you’re looking for a live nct dream performance, I would check out their concert. Again, no hate, but thought I’d mention it.

Yuna solo potential became a thing. At this point. If it ever happens… she set a high bar for herself with this!!! She HAS to become this generations Sexy Soloist. It just suits her like no one else. I can SEEEEEE her being this generations HyunA or Hyolyn from the aura she is pushing.

Actually I just checked and I’m pretty sure nct dreams glitch mode performance was live on mbc’s gayo, Aespas definitely was which is so great, that is a performance to watch out for.

One of the gayos, i think the Christmas eve one was fully live since there was no prerecording! so i think that would be a good one for pd to watch. I believe the others are heavily edited during prerecordings

It’s amazing how so many people didn’t read that this is just part 1… Anyways I think what also helped TXT be so captivating (they always are but it was on max for this performance) was that you can tell they were mad mad and made sure you could hear them live. The group shouting monochrome diamonds and especially Kai near the end 😍 also OS has been dubbed THE Taehyun center moment. I still won’t forget twitter freaking out the first time we saw the choreo during the comeback show Also I need to be friends with their stylist- I love her so much 😍

Just wanted to note that KBS doesn't do brands/profanity AT ALL lol so that's why Porsche is squad (really the word car was right there) in any performance on KBS' channel, even Music Bank. It's not a new thing, so it's always funny for me to see what lyrics get changed to 😂

His hair that day was just perfection Agreed - this was a comparatively less theatrical performance compared to MMA/MAMA, but somehow it's my favourite one lol. Wow! I am so impressed by IVE! I usually skip their performances cause was disappointed several times already. But this time they killed it! IVE gets so much hate for being inconsistent. If all their performances were immaculate like this, no one would dare to criticize them. And yes, it's hard to give 100% all the time with their schedules. But other groups somehow manage to do it (great examples are ITZY, LE SSERAFIM). And they received so many daesangs this year, all eyes on them, so expectations are extremely high.

TXT were literally mad on the stage because of the rumours going around that they lipsync. Taehyun said about this perf that all the other groups prepared dance break or cover stage, but they just wanted to tear up the stage with their live vocals. And they did.

Thank you for this PD, LSRF performance director is on another level, in this particular performance, the dance break actually tells the story from the beginning where they look lost and wander around then meet each other then perform together. KBS is great but the SBS one is more amazing, can't wait for it PD. The playlist you're using is not in order btw also there are a lot of compilation videos too there. Also, I don't know if you will watch AAA PD but LSRF antifragile rock ver. is a must-check, and all of their dance practice actually since you will see so much more there.

nah when pd started crying during itzy i started crying as well like i felt it so much and it was so nice to know i'm not alone in feeling emotionally attached to them. being an itzy fan is definitely a lonely experience, they're not one of the most talked about girl groups and i don't see a lot of them on my feed either. but their music and just them as people is so healing for me. it's crazy because for 6 years my ult group was bts and then i found itzy and their lyrics, paris et itzy, etc. and suddenly itzy have been my ults ever since. their content and lyrics have helped me get through so much the past couple of years and i can't wait to see what they do next!

Ok i have to say this. During MAMA when there was the girl group collab stage, people were hating on Kyujin sayin that she was doing too much and that she was trying to stand out but put her with other JYPE artists on a stage and you can clearly see that NO ONE is standing out like that because they're all equally good dancers. JYPE artists always getting hated for "doing too much" when the reality is that they're just such amazing dancers that you just get drawn to them.

With aespa's makeup and hair, I think they kinda did Giselle dirty. Winter looks stunning with the "snow white" look of red lips and dark short hair. Ningning looks really hot with the "western" look of smokey eyes and tanned skin. Karina looks great as always. But Giselle's hair and makeup are just so-so. She doesn't look bad but recently I've seen much better looks from her in other events.
