After watching this. (Been avoiding NMIXX songs cause of the recent departure from Jinni) the song kinda turned from a Happy upbeat Christmas Song to a bittersweet song… it’s kinda similar to how I feel when I listen to X1’ Flash.

was really happy to see this reaction after the recent news:( I’ve been following jinni’s journey since press cover in aug 2021😭 so sad as she’s trained for around 6 years which I was reminded of when watching your LSFM doc reaction In regards to FGC I really loved it especially their vocals and that bridge + outro! it’s the type of song that instantly puts a smile on my face especially when paired with the mv. I just love this group so much

Really sad that Jinni left. NMIXX were (and still are) one of my favourite groups and have so much potential. I truly hope that they can still be successful despite the abrupt termination of Jinnis contract. And I hope Jinni is okay. Her demeanour truly changed after O.O. There is a vast difference between Jinni when she debuted vs. DICE era ):

The talk/rumor here in Korea is that she had been dating secretly. Which in and of itself wouldn't be worthy of any kind of contract termination. However when the company staff and management asked her if she was in fact dating secretly (JYP has 3 year dating ban for idols and it is in the contract). She ALEDGEDLY denied it rather than admitting to it and letting the company know what they had to prepare for if it came out publically. Because she was not honest, again alegedly , JYPE terminated her contract because she failed to uphold the values of the company, Honesty, Humility, and Sincerity. She would not be the 1st idol terminated by JYPE for not being honest with the staff or management. So IT is not confirmed, but it is highly probable. So believe it or don't, I am 80/20 based on what JYP stresses and what has happened in the past with dating issues.

hmm i just feel like its more probably something to do with health or the huge amount of hate nmixx received. i mean she basically trained for this job for her whole life and its always been her dream, realistically i doubt she would throw that all away for a guy.

Hrm 🤔 I obviously do not know what happened with Jinni but based on my personal knowledge, yes JYP terminates/blacklists people who lie. But @ryujinpunch makes a point, it seems unlikely or at the very least foolish to endanger your ENTIRE LIFE that you’ve built—with a lie!

I think it's also important to note that Jinni trained for SIX YEARS, even Bang Chan spoke fondly of memories from when they were trainees together. I just don't see someone that dedicated giving it up for a reason like that.

She is a teenager and they don't make the best life choices. Perhaps she believed they wouldn't let her go even if she was caught. It is not the 1st time people have gone through JYPe system and thought once they debuted they didn't have to uphold those values anymore. Look at Xdinary Heros they got yanked back to the trainee dorms for over 4 months after debut on "hiatus" for thinking they could be disrespectful to those values and the management just because they debuted. There are young idols who think, once they have fans and the public knows them that the companies will not pull them back as easily or as quickly. But of all the companies, JYPE will in fact do that, without a 2nd thought. So teenagers make dumb life choices sometimes, in the heat of an emotional moment. She wouldn't be the 1st and she won't be the last.
