Ahhhhh yayyyyy

Annika

Damn I'm fast today 😂 also oneus just got their 3rd win for this song on music bank today, which is their first on a national music show (they also won on show champion & the show). I'm so proud of them and how far they've come they really deserve 😭 also idk what it is about this song but its just so good.. its so simple but so good

Tesa

it's their first mubank win? that's amazing! they truly deserve it all!

Emily Howell-Forbes

Really hope we get a listening party for this soon. The whole album is amazing.

Yes!! this whole comeback completely blew me away, they really outdid themselves

Tesa

I am completely and utterly OBSESSED with this song! And album for that matter, so I hope you hear it this month, PD. You might regret it if you leave it for Oct lol Same Scent is so beautiful (and catchy) and the MV compliments it so well. The individual member teasers they did were the definition of sexy. Both the members being 'men' and the cinematography, so I highly recommend everyone checks them out if they haven't yet! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIimtc5gBLI&list=PLqbtTUNzdQ2PbXYdK5M2ZriMbclaxCfFI&index=98&ab_channel=ONEUS

Seoho broke down crying today after their Music Bank win and shared with the group that all this time he has been scared and felt like if he'd been better then the group would have gotten better results. He also said he felt like whether he was in the group or not, ONEUS would be fine without him. Other members also shared how scared and pressured they felt when they compared themselves to other more successful groups. Like you said, I think ONEUS' future is going to be different, and I think the success of this comeback is going to be the what does it because this was a comeback made by ONEUS for ONEUS. From the mv to the concept films and the music, ONEUS had a hand in everything, even directing each other's voices when recording the album (They do some cool things throughout the songs on this album, Full Moon in particular is a masterpiece). They were so nervous on release day, more nervous than we'd ever seen them be before, and I'm glad this comeback has been so successful to validate their talents and hopefully give them more confidence. Today on Music Bank, Hwanwoong thank fans for supporting them when they were "nothing," and they fact they ever felt like they were nothing in the first place is so sad to me. I can't imagine how many other idols/groups feel like they're nothing because the gap in success between the biggest groups and everyone else is so big. It's honestly no wonder why so many idols need mental health breaks because if an ace like Seoho feels less than and disposable, then who is safe from feeling that way?

Rebecca Le Minh

I just saw the Seoho video, it broke my heart. I admire how genuine he was and how they all comforted him. I hope they all realise how precious they all are to us

formoftherapy

I politely and aggressively disagree with Seoho. He’s one of their most important singers!

If you think about it, Luna, the song that got them their first win, was only chosen as a title track because the members themselves pushed for it. Otherwise it would've just been a Oneus Theater project. And now you're saying that the members were heavily involved during the creation of this whole comeback, the one that, once again, got them wins. It's almost as if listeners could feel the authenticity, when artists are allowed to actually show their style and music... as if the artist knew what fit them best and what makes them most comfortable, where they are able to shine the most *stares at RBW*

Ebony Coco

Agreed! I really hope they back off more. Tbf to them, RBW does give their artists more creative freedom than most companies, but I think because of how important ONEUS is for them financially right now since they've shifted their focus from MAMAMOO to them, the CEOs are really focused on trying to "make" ONEUS popular and don't fully trust ONEUS to be able to achieve it themselves, and as a result, they've tried to take control at times (Bring it On, for example), when really, ONEUS does have the skills and talents to manage their comebacks and get great results as seen by the success of LUNA and now SAME SCENT. Hopefully RBW is seeing this and taking the hint lol because it could not be louder and clearer.

Ebony Coco

Agreed. I was floored when I saw the clip and what he said. Xion straight up told him his thinking was nonsense and listed all the ways he contributes to ONEUS that makes him irreplaceable. It's just really surprising he's been feeling this way and holding it in all this time. For a group that's so kind to their fans, (Xion and Leedo's responses to a fan coming out to them as a trans man really affirmed for me that they're really as kind as they come across in their content), they really aren't as kind and understanding to themselves. Almost every member now has expressed doubts about their roles in ONEUS and being good enough for the group, and as a fan it's just sad how much pressure they put on themselves and the things they tell themselves. I get it as someone who has been there mentally myself, but I also don't as a fan who can see how talented and crucial to the group they all are.
