"Is yena that big?". She is the most successful out of all the iz*one members who debuted solo. Smiley started rising on the charts after her promotion for it almost ended and it did SO well, I think it was like top 5 on melon & bugs and top 10 on FLO, even now it's still chilling in melon daily charts. Also this comeback with smartphone sold over 117K albums in the first week, I'm so happy for her 👏 alsoo I think yena co-wrote the lyrics and the song was produced by ollipop he also produced smiley and alot of everglow songs including ladida, aaaand txts no rules & chuus heart attack

Smiley was really successful in korea so thats probably why yuehua put more money into this comeback.

Yes finally, maybe you should check out the performance too if you're interested PD. Her b-side is dope too,WithOrWithout, it's like a sequel to Lxxk 2 U, really love the performance on both. P.S. Chaeyeon finally gonna debut in October

Yena is huge in korea!! Because she does so much variety all the celebs know her and her song Smiley has been on the charts ever since the song came out! She's so brave for coming back during newjeans debut, SNSD comeback, and even IVE! She def has a following and I can't wait to see what she brings next! So happy her company invests in her :)

Even more so. Yuehua probably has more money than the big 3 combined but most of it goes to their chinese side which is the dominant company over there pretty much and only a very tiny fraction of the available budget goes to the Korean side of Yuehua

Hey Pd! I know you enjoyed the IZ*ONE variety content. Did you know the idolplus channel found a work around for eating trip? They have rebranded it as Cheating Trip(cause they're kinda cheating keeping this group together.) 1st season Hyewon, Chaeyeon and Yuri. Season 2 Eunbi, Hyewon and Yuri. Season 3 Eunbi, Chaeyeon and (surprise!!) Hitomi!! I pointed this out to make a point. People realize the effect IZ*ONE has on the k-pop industry, but very few actually mention it. Nako has become very popular as an HKT member and will be hosting an upcoming FNC survival show.. LE SERAFIM(despite controversy not having to do with IZ*ONE members) is doing fine. I don't think we have to discuss IVE's popularity. Eunbi, Yuri and Yena have all had rather successful solo debuts. Hyewon is doing youtube and acting. Chaeyeon has announced her debut album(now if it's an actual studio album, not a single or EP. It will explain why we've heard very little on Chaeyeon's solo activities.) As for Minju, well let's say that not since the"golden era of SM(early SNSD, Shinee) has Music Core kept an MC for more than one year. Minju is going on 2 years now as MC. So I'd say she's quite poplular.
