Honestly? That's good. It means you're an open person who's willing to learn no matter what the source material! Something I really love about Japanese writing that I think Korean or American writing RARELY touches on, which is honesty and emotions, and sometimes both. I personally try to be inspired by anime characters, specifically shounen protagonists. I have a theory that shounen protagonists are a blueprint for how we should be living our lives: helping others honestly, bravely, fearlessly, and never giving up! But Jujutsu Kaisen, yes, I think more than most anime, have made me think deeper about myself and life at various times. -PD

Thanks PD! :) and absolutely! I think the way they write their characters, express their emotions, their values and such is just really beautiful. It's hard not to compare their situations with our reality and that's the part I find really touching. No matter how unrealistic anime plots can be there's always a sense of realism there. Also, I am so happy that you're enjoying your journey of diving deeper into anime. Thanks again PD!

The Junpei arc really breaks my heart; he finally had hope and realized how precious his mom is, only for them to rip it away from him. I think this arc is one of Itadori's first turning points not only skill wise but with his mindset too. I'm looking forward to you guys watching the movie too!
