they did a live band version of Call My Name on It's Live! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zg2Tf-0STa8&feature=youtu.be I love this album, I am a PTG stan, and Jinho is my bias. His singing is absolutely one of the best. Wooseok and Kino did an amazing job. It is unfortunate they didnt get to produce their title track this time. Feelin' Like was really weak compared to all the other tracks in my opinion.

I really like most of the songs in this album, but my favourite is definitely The Game. The bridge where all the vocals cut out and just that dirty guitar(?) is left makes me so happy! Pentagon has an amazing discography overall, so if you want to check out some more of their b-sides, I would personally recommend the UNIVERSE: The Black Hall album. And yeah, the magazine ho covers are top tier as well, they don't just showcase Jinho, other members also often join for them.

i'm so glad you enjoyed this album!! jinho's voice is one of my favourites in kpop for sure

I love Jinho's voice so much. It was a spot that was missing when he was in the military. I just love his magazine ho's so much. He is just so amazing and one of the best vocalists Kpop has. It would be such a treat to have Jinho, Jongho and Eunkwang together in one song, i think ;)

this is already my favourite album of the year, and don't think anyone's gonna top this. i liked feelin' like fine, but it's easily at the bottom for me. the game and one shot are personal favourites! it's also funny to me how you're surprised that you liked jinho's voice best on call my name when he's arguably one of the best vocalists in the industry hahaha

This album for me was going from one song to the next and just being mindblown over and over again

Kpop_Platypus

The Game makes me think Wooseok heard Jinho's cover of Imagine Dragons' Natural & said, "YES.....but make it PTG" and I love it. 😁 It's definitely my favorite song on the album. (I really want to know what ReacttotheK would say about it, too, in case PD happens to talk to Umu soon...😋) And yes, Jinho (who happens to be my bias) is an INCREDIBLE vocalist. He's got a lot of versatility and range, as evidenced not only in PTG's songs, but the monthly covers he does on YouTube - which I highly recommend PD checks out if the live streams ever come back. I mean, the man covered Bohemian Rhapsody BY HIMSELF. I liked the album a lot, and agree that Feelin Like might not have been the best choice for the title track, but I still like that they did something different & got to try a concept they've been wanting to do.

this album was just absolutely phenomenal and i'm so happy you reacted to it!!! I thought feeling like was good but it's just so hard to love it when every other song on the album is way waaaaay better. pentagon is truly truly talented in their abilities to make top tier songs and i just wish more people recognised this. also i'm geeking out at the fact that you referenced ikon and bigbang cos those are my absolute fav bgs after Pentagon. there's something about artists/groups who make their own songs that hit different. p.s if you love jinho's vocals, i would highly recommend you checking out their cover of Aespa's Savage on It's Live! they also did a call my name on there. speaking of call my name, the sample was indeed from No Diggity by Blackstreet and idk if you noticed but "No Diggity" was actually included in wooseok's rap and i thought that was pretty clever.

for me Feelin Like was definitely the weakest of the tracks, but I understand why they chose it. They wanted to do something they'd never done before and also I guess in a style they wouldn't really be able to compose themselves. It's a song that heavily relies on the performance (and in this case in a dance related way) and I think it showcases all of the member's strenghts quite well. For me One Shot, The Game and Call my name could all have been title tracks and honestly every song on the album deserves a MV! My "ranking" of the tracks changes daily, but BAD, One Shot and The Game are always somewhere on top. It always takes me some time to really get into Kino's songs, because I naturally prefer other "soundscapes" more, but his songs have a knack for catching me off-guard later on and shooting up in my lists ... Call my name is currently very dangerous! They actually performed Call my name with a live band on It's Live! I think you'd really enjoy it!! Their cover of Aespa's savage is also phenomenal! I think this is your first reaction to a Pentagon album and I'm really glad it's In:vite u! :) thanks pd!

I’ve been a full time Universe since the day you reacted to Shine and you introduced me to Pentagon!! And now…? Watching your reaction to the album is really a boost to my universe ego! Thank you on so many levels.

2023-01-05 21:53:17 Since you like bad so much, i think you would also appreciate pentagon’s individual songs a lot. especially the maknae line works on a lot of music outside of official album releases. also because you mentioned TOP, if melodic beats with hard rap & soft vocals is something for you - you should definitely check out wooseok’s song “domino”. he released it on the album 9801, which was a sub-unit between him & wanna one’s kuanlin. not just is the song somewhat sad, because wooseok wrote it during a hard time to encourage & motivate himself, but overall is the song also incredible. based on my knowledge you’re also a big fan of yuto’s rap. his solo music on soundcloud is no joke either. he really worked so hard</3
