Literally only Changmin can do this album this well. Like nobody does it like him aaaahshahhsjdkdlfltllrltlröeöeööe dying here Anyway i dont even know my fav songs on this cause i cant decide. Devil is rly cool as a title track. I have a very soft spot for songs like maniac like they actually make me wanna dance and groove way more than some pop songs. Alien was really vibey and he sounded amazing. So yeah i dont know 🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏👏

Ive been waiting 11 years for his solo. Chocolate was beautiful and I loved the whole album but Chocolate and Piano are my fav songs from his debut album. Fever is by far my fav on this album purely just for his voice. DBSK have been my ult group since I got into kpop in 2010 unfortunately right after they broke up. JYJ was the first group I loved and stunned and saw in concert multiple times. I got to see Max and YuKnow as well and they performed Keep Your Head Down and Maximum and they were freaking amazing!! Im so freaking proud of Max right now for this album. For him to still be making music like this at 30!! Im 35 so all of 4th gen is like half my age. So I appreciate artists like Max and JaeJoong and 2pm who are 30 now and I love them even more for still being this crazy good at 30. Max has always been one of the most powerful vocalists and Junsu. The way he pronounces and hangs on words is just pure 20 years worth of polished technique. I even have an Always Keep The Faith tattoo and I will always keep the faith for all DBSK members whether they go solo or not. Max and JaeJoong are just another level to me entirely though. DBSK will forever be my ult group.

Also I forgot to mention that the opening of Fever is from Keep Your Head Down!! I loved that he used part of that song since it was their debut of TVXQ after the break up. And there are elements of the mv all through out this stage and I love it!! Being a DBSK stan for 10 years just makes Fever all that more special to me!!

I've been a fan of TVXQ since 2008 and it is SO gratifying to see Changmin putting out such incredible solo stuff and hearing other people appreciate it. I think what stands out most to me, besides his technical singing ability, is how artistic he is with his singing. There's so much nuance in his vocal choices.

I loved this listening party so much. Devil was the song that first introduced me to Max Changmin a month ago (thanks to that incredible MV) and I quickly became a fan after listening to the EP. Let's just say I have listened to this EP a lot for the past month. It's just so good. My favourite Bsides are Maniac, Fever and Alien. Also your reaction to Maniac and Devil lead to me subscribing to your channel and to then also join your patreon.

This album might just be once of my favourite albums by a solo artist EVER. Changmin oozes so much charisma and maturity through his voice alone, during my first listen through, every time I heard a new song I would think "OH that's my favourite song off this album" and then the next song just blows me away. I'm a huge fan of jazz (and groovy and soulful songs in general) and Changmin blew my mind throughout this whole album. Among all the songs, Maniac, Fever and Alien were my favourites! Weird side note: maybe it's because I just watched LOUD before this but Changmin's music and releases REALLY feels like what Cheon Junhyeok's solo music would sound like in 10 or so years once he matures.

I still listen to it, and will aways go back to it but now after the middle of the song I got bored because the part "rain down on me" don't have enough of variations and go anywhere. So because it is repeated soooo many time in the whole song, at some point, I'm just waiting for the song to finish. I just love Maniac and especially Alien, just the way he sings with a smile,...this is everything to me ! I just melt to any song where the singer "act" his lyrics on top of singing it. It something super current in French variety (and in some Disney song) and I'm LIVING for it in Alien &lt;333

ive been listening to this whole album non-stop since i heard it a few days ago. put on one of the one hour loop videos for airplane mode at work and i just cant tire of it. what the heck, he's too good. ive never listened to tvxq or max changmin before this and i am currently too scared to dive deeper.

Thank you for this. I really loved his album and performances. I'm a Bigeast Fan, so I come from their Japanese side of music and performances and I always love their live concerts because you just get swept into them. Changmin's range always hits me.

As a Changmin-biased Cassie, I totally agree with you that the wait for his solo debut (although it felt like forever) was worth it. THE STANDARD HE IS RAISING, INDEED. 2nd Gen is truly on a different league/level, and Changmin's incomparable vocals stood out so much in this album. CHOCOLATE has a special place in my heart as his first solo album, but DEVIL's track list truly has no skips for me. Also, I'm SO glad we got a fever stage + live comeback performances because it's actually my second favorite song from the album after 'Devil', and seeing you go crazy over his live vocals makes me so proud. Hope you'll continue reacting to more TVXQ content in the future, PD!
