I can't believe it is over, such an amazing journey. I'm so glad I was able to re-watch it with you both. I agree with you, I was very impressed with the twists and combination of genres they tackled in this. The characters were also so amazing. Han Seo's death was the hardest for me, but the sneaky heart punch was when they made us think Mr Lee was dead as well. I mentioned in another comment about a great youtube video of the writer and director of Vincenzo talking about some of the scenes of the show, if you would be interested in watching it. https://youtu.be/NaQf1jnQsu0 I watched it twice and still think about it sometimes lol.

Could just be me, but I was under the impression that Ahn lied to his boss when asked if they had found Vincenzo or not, especially after he and Cho were so buddy buddy about working together lol. Ahn is practically in love with/worships Vincenzo, so I absolutely believe he would turn a blind eye 😂

Actually, you mentioned how the actor who played Hanseo impressed you in Its Okay Not to Be Okay and how complex his character was in that show and this show while still sharing some of the same characteristics. Well, the person who cast the actor for this show said the literal same thing and they too watched his performance on Its Okay Not To Be Okay and then were moved enough to cast him for Hanseo. I just found it interesting how your guys' thoughts overlapped on the matter.

Wow I was just blown away by this show more and more as it went on. I remember starting it and being really confused about what kind of show it was, but as it took it's twists and turns and we went on this journey and became more familiar with it I really began to love the writing. This show manages to do so many things and spin this incredibly complex narrative with tons of deep characters without being overwhelming or messy and that's so impressive. Also managing to be both a silly fun show with goofy moments everywhere AND a dark gritty show about corruption and revenge and neither really feeling out of place in the narrative they have set up really makes this a one of a kind show, at least out of everything I've seen from Korea. What an amazing journey this was the past few months, I very much enjoyed watching this show with y'all!!!
