Tbh, I was worried at first about what her sound would be like after moving labels, no longer working with RBW producers, and Ravi having a big hand in the album's music production(his solo stuff can be hit or miss for me). Turns out, I ADORED it! Wheein said she wanted this whole album to be something you can have on in the background to vibe along to, something easy but fun to listen to, and most of all - comforting. Which I totally felt! I like her ballad stuff fine and I absolutely love her funky stuff, but I also loved this new direction. And that this wasn't a "slow" album. There's a definite groove to it that kept me going throughout the day and yes, made me happy. Like Wheein intended. ❤️

Btw, Wheein recorded short "Track Videos" for every song on her album, even the interlude and a different take on Make Me Happy! https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLt1XMYObVw75s8BjWBglm1yQgXzFQFAo9 And actually, she did something similar for her previous album Redd - she did live clip videos for every song there as well.

I feel like people don't give Ravi enough credit for his producing/composing skills, I know there's people who like/don't like his solo stuff, but Ravi has a lot of talent composing for other people, I feel like he really understands each person's unique essence and is able to create songs that really embrace their own persona. Also, just a side note, Ravi is the idol with most copyrighted/registered songs under his name. He has even more copyrights than G-Dragon, RM or even PSY. That's why I was really happy when Wheein announced she was joining Ravi's label, because I knew she was gonna have a great safe and creative space for her music.

This is such a easy listen. I usually try to concentrate and pay attention to music but listening to this album always makes me almost forget that I exist. I forget that I listen to music and just vibe. While I get why you would want a song to "shake things up" I think it would be against the purpose of this album. I love to have this album be evenly so I can just start it and be comforted and hugged by Wheein's voice for 20 min or so and forget about the rest :) Wheein will probably release another album this year which will be called "In the mood" and my guess is that it will be a more upbeat / "Watercolor" ish album, I'm so happy for Wheein. She seems so much more comfortable and relaxed now that she is in theL1ve. And Whee was her most successfull album so far which is just great to see :)

Yeah my only problem was all the song sounds similar, maybe a bop or ballad would of complete it

(i joined your patreon specifically for this reaction lol) YOU ARE WRONG. Paraglide is one of wheein’s best songs ever if not her best song to date and many people agree with me on this. You definitely need to give it a few more listens and you will fall in love with it. That being said, i personally love the consistent sound throughout the album, it’s something we never got to see with MMM or any of the members. ‘Deserve’ is probably a preview of what we should expect for her upcoming album (summer release btw!) which is possibly titled “in the mood” as wheein hinted before, and it seems like she’s aiming to show a a draker, more intimate sound. Looking forward to it!

Another thing is that Ravi wasn’t the ‘main producer’ in all of these tracks (previously mentioned in articles) but he did write most of the songs.

Edward Of DOOM

As far as Non-MCU Marvel movies go, I really enjoyed 'The Fantastic Four' from 2005. Even the 2007 sequel was better than Dark Phoenix. You just have to suspend your knowledge of the person portraying Johnny Storm as you may remember him as someone else... Also, 'Ready Player One' should be high on your watch list if you're never seen it, as a lot of movies you've posted contributed to it.

PD I suggest you to check Wheein's Watercolor or Redd album, this is her solo debut album and there are songs that she composed herself and has her distinct style. You might find the something lacking you're mentioning through her own songs
