I took an unintentional break from up10 in the recent years and this album blew me away. In the past, I’ve generally preferred their TT over their Bsides but these songs are masterpieces. And I do think it’s partly due to the fact that their sound has matured in comparison to their older stuff

this album made me a fan of the group too! i did some research now on the producer for Pandora because i was very intrigued by your comments and all i could find was that he (Choi Hyunjun) produced Violeta and Fiesta for Iz*One? did not expect that all!

lmao I feel you, Sunyoul singing speechless is forever a gem, I love how he sings in the original female key, but at the same time sounds not totally feminine but actually quite neutral (compare to Tears) and has his own charm. His recent Sunyoul'ive cover of Loving You Girl, his first official cover with a male song, is also extremely beautiful. I'm always impressed that he keeps on improving, not only becoming more stable but also expanding his range.

I'm so happy to hear that as a Honey10!! And yes Choi Hyunjun composed those two songs, and he also produce lots of other songs and for other groups. For example, Twice, ASTRO, BTOB, Apink, GOT7, WJSN, ...

Oh no I think one of my comment has disappeared... If it's not on your side, please forgive me. Anyways I wanted to tell you that Fall and Sad Ending was co-written by Xiao (maknae) and 5 members from the crew Blatinum Music. He worked with the same memebrs for Destroyed and Honey Cake in Connection album. Not sure if they worked with other TOP Media pieces, that has to be checked. And yes, Xiao said that he WANTED a band-based song, which is why we got to have Fall. Fun fact, Day6 and Up10tion debuted only 3 days apart. Khun and Dowoon (and Pentagon Shinwon) are besties. The rest of the members like Day6's songs as well. From what I remember, Kogyeol, Gyujin and Xiao all recommended Day6's songs around 2021/2022. Xiao basically said he was listening to them while he was in the process of making Fall. Also, Bitto recently recommended a N.Flying song. So I believe they all have certain interests in band music. I really recommend you to listen to Light Up and Connection albums! Especially Connection, which includes more memeber's works. And all the b-sides are quite unique. Even the four songs I mentioned Xiao wrote, is in 4 different genres. Last, I want to say that TOP Media is quite good at finding artists and making music. I'd say they are just bad at promoting. They actually have quite a handful of artists, including Andy&Eric from Shinhwa (Andy created this company), 100% (contract ended but had heavenly vocals), Teen Top (In my opinion was once quite popular as well), UP10TION (including Kim Wooseok & Lee Jinhyuk), MCND. UP10TION was actually rising in their first two years, but the company didn't push it through and they just faded. They could be said well-known in Japan, but sadly because of the pandemic they couldn't do shows there now. I'm just glad at least there are still new fans building up.

This EP is amazing but nothing beats Light Up for me (it's what made me a fan) so super excited for future listening parties!
