PD, I don't know if you know this already or not, but Jiyoon has been back to Weeekly activities since December 15. They've already performed twice with her, too, which was lovely to see. If you wanna look for those performances, they're the 1st Peace Concert and Simply K-Pop. Just look for them with Holiday Party and they should come out. This episode was like a gift to Daileee especially because it landed on Weeekly's 500 days anniversary. The dynamics were so so so nice to watch, and it's ironic you mention how Soojin is like Weeekly's heart & that the group centers around her because in Weeekly's lore, Soojin is the sun and the rest are the celestial bodies that orbit around her, so yeah, you're spot on. One of the videos that shows how, much of the time, it's really Monday and Soeun that take over the strict role in the group is their episode of IDOLHOUSE back in Zig Zag era. Soojin and Jiyoon overall seem to take on other roles. Also, I know you dropped it (and I totally get it), but if you want to see more of their dynamics behind the scenes, just like for your own enjoyment, then you can in their weee:kloud series. Weeekly is so young T-T I'm glad they let Zoa act her age but also Jaehee and Jihan. Like, Soojin herself barely turned 20 (international age) last month. It's always so surprising Thank you for this! I was really excited to watch you react to them again. I think you'll really enjoy the next episodes, too ^_^

I'll say this about Soojin, on the surface, she looks like this soft-spoken, shy girl, it's easy to assume she's timid (for lack of a better word) but after watching enough of Weeekly's variety, she's someone like that only on the surface. I personally think she has pretty strong values and mental finess, and that's why she's the leader (not only because of her age). As an example, there's something she says in the next 2 episodes to Monday that really impressed/surprised me. I'll point it out next week if I remember. Won't spoil it since you have not watched it, PD. I think it's also a tell of a good leader when you can see that all members have the guts to poke fun of their leader, yet they listen and follow her direction as a leader. I think that shows that she's approachable, members can confide in her, yet her authority as the leader is still respected.

I love how Weeekly’s company promotes the group! It reminds me a lot of how Fromis_9 is promoted, with the variety content that’s super well produced and having their own YouTube series. Now that I think about it, both groups are super similar in the sense that they both have members who are hilarious and great at variety (and their discography is amazing too). I’m glad you’re keeping up with the Weeekly content, thank you :)
