Surprise! 

All month long people have been requesting various Christmas releases but I've secretly been keeping track to react to them all at once as a special Christmas Patreon video. I kept my lips tight on this because... well, the best presents are a surprise right?

twice never misses with their japanese comebacks, especially since "breakthrough" and "happy happy" - truly they hit different! i also love purple kiss' "my my" and billlie's "snowy night." :D also in "winter falls" hyunjin is just...wow. i can totally see him being an actor in a few years.

for stray kids, winter falls and christmas evel were actually dual title tracks for their special album, but because it was a special album it wasn't promoted as much as it could've been had it been a normal comeback

Winter Falls and Christmas Evel are actually dual title tracks. They didn't promote it though because Skz have been super busy with year end and award show performances so they would definitely have been overworked (more than they already are) if they had to promote it. I think Stray Kids are just a bunch of workaholics who just don't want to take a break. Even during the months between their In Life album and their Noeasy album, they still released unofficial songs on their YouTube channel. I remember Han once saying that he has a hard time not working. Hyunjin worked on songs during his hiatus too because he's been experimenting and trying out producing songs. Chan once said that he makes so many songs because its fun and he loves doing it. Of course they tired too and he's opened up about his struggles a few times. In conclusion, even if you force them to rest, they'll most likely work anyways 😭 I hope they get some time off soon before their rumoured tour though.

I LOVE DOUGHNUT SO MUCH!! it's just such a soothing song. There are theories about the video too. The doughnut was supposed to be the guy. He was dating all of them and the theory is all the members mostly Dahyun killed him. Mina was seeing him last and didn't want to seem suspicious so she was crying. It's a pretty crazy theory but Momo (I think, might've been someone else ) said on bubble that it was about murder. Pretty crazy!!

STAY has been telling SKZ that they need to take a break for a while now. I really worry about Bang Chan; he's very much a workaholic, has insomnia, and overall has an incredible amount of pressure and responsibility on his shoulders. Whenever I'm in one of his vlives, Chan's Room, people in the chat are always telling him to rest, to eat, to sleep. And then in their 2022 promo video, they announced that they're releasing TWO NEW ALBUMS this year. As much as I love their music, when I saw that, I immediately out loud said, "GUYS TAKE A VACATION MY GOODNESS!" They just.........I worry so much. I worry that Bang Chan especially is going to experience intense burnout and won't know how to handle it because he's been grinding for literally a decade now, as a trainee and then a debuted artist. I think JYPE might have to force them to take a vacation/hiatus sometime in the future just to get them to finally take a genuine rest.

I agree with you, but the thing with JYPE is that they gonna woooork their artist to the core, I love every group under JYPE but if you look at every group releases, they all have at least 2 comebacks a year every year (if we don't even count the japanese releases). If we look at Twice I feel like they never had a break. The two new albums releasing this year will probably be mini album but still... and if they're planning a world tour I don't see them having a break anytime soon... Maybe they'll have a break next year since JYPE is debuting a new boy group this year and if the pandemic is "over" hope they send Felix and Chan in Australia to see their families.
