This was one of my fave eps, that last scene with the scummy scammer was so powerful. I love that this show isn't afraid to depict realistic portrayals of society and the lengths humans will go, to save themselves, regardless of who and what they sacrifice. It really makes me think about my views on humanity, justice & morality. I especially resonated when Yohan said "people feel greater pain when something they had is taken away from them" and "there is no innocent person in this world". It's so refreshing and realistic and those quotes will stay with me for the rest of my life. One of my fave shows I've seen in 2021 for sure. Also everytime I see him in a project, I am always awed by what an amazing actor Ji Sung is, his eyes alone can tell a million emotions without him saying anything.

I feel the same about Oh Jinjoo.. they haven't done anything with her character yet, so what is her purpose? Will she eff things up moving forward? Can't wait for the next ep to see how things develop!

The ending scene is so, so good. It's one of my favourite scenes of the whole show! Also, you're talking about wjsn Dayoung, right? They could definitely pass as mother and daughter!

Wanwanwhen

The main problem I have with this drama is that the writer can't write the two "righteous" characters as the "aces" they supposed to be. She supposed to be a star police and ace detective. It's hard to believe an ace would not be able to think about better ways (and did everything she actually could to protect Elijah while still facing the troubles to move the plot). The writer just took the easiest way. Gaon is also supposed to be a lot smarter but oh well.
