The murder cannibal homo aspects makes me want to rewatch hannibal

minkit

what do you MEAN "if he wasn't a serial killer this would be the gayest setup" (I ask, as i write Moonjo/Jongwoo fanfic). dont you know the inherent homoeroticism of *checks notes* murder in fiction? im fighting so hard to not really say anything because i've already seen the entire series... absolutely in love with it edit: cuz i just listened to your post-thoughts and have a very stupid grin on my face im super excited to see your reactions to how this show turns out. i was... ecstatic watching it. edit 2: also having seen it already before, I never really understood why they showed so many scenes of Jieun at work, but now I think it's kind of to show a difference between her and Jongwoo. Jieun handles her stress and asshole coworkers very well, meanwhile Jongwoo, as we see in his imagination... he definitely has some anger issues. its an interesting comparison between the two of them to me.

Lee Dong Wook creeps me the FUCK out in this drama, I probably can't watch Goblin or Touch Your Heart without feeling unsettled but I do love the gay undertones in this

Maria

uhhhh so with regards to being a bit disappointed they put that opening scene in the first episode….well, all I’ll say is, this show is very, very good at misdirection.

Amanda Araujo

man this show is so creepy and disturbing that last scene was so unsettling omg and idk if im liking it or if im just intrigued but im definitely curious to see more

ah, i do agree with your opinion on the translation of the English title... I'm not sure if its intentional, but 'hell is other people' is also possibly a reference to a famous quote from a play called No Exit, about three people stuck together in hell - it can basically be interpreted as ppl make life hell for each other, and we are trapped by the way others see us. (I've seen the phrase referred to as both '타인은 지옥이다' and '지옥은 바로 타인이야' in Korean) On another note, some of the things you said made me very interested in what you'll think of the ending ^^

I just love this drama. It's still amazing even as I am now watching it for a third time

So... After seeing your Reaction to episodes 1-3 I binged the whole show. Also, as per usual seeing one of the Z:EA members made me listen to breath again and now it's stuck in my head 🤣

I’m like you the first time I watched it I thought this is good but it’s making me feel unhinged and I don’t want to watch it again but here I am watching it with you!

hdsjdsjbjksf i left my comment about this show reminding me of Hannibal on the last post right before watching this one XD welp..

Rachel

from what I was told, Lee Dong Wook’s character is canonically gay based on the webcomic “Hell is Other People"

PeachyBun

this is korean hannigram on the process
