Pd you should really check out their album reboot it's really good, also their albums for lucid dream and burn it

I will say this album is definitely Golden Childs safest album so far. Although I still love it It might be their least interesting album to date objectively. I would recommend checking out earlier golden child albums as they are on a whole other level in my opinion.

Does Joochans voice reminds anyone else a little bit of Kihyuns? Especially in Fanfare and Spell from this album and No Matter What from Reboot (2019). The cry and texture sounds somewhat similar.

I would recommend listening to their album Reboot! It has the same structure with the unit songs like this album and in my opinion they're even better

Yeah like you said, if people like bottom of the ocean is fine but for me it's their worst song not only on this album but from ALL of their albums to date. And not because it's in english...it's overall boring and I listen to Golden Child to hear Golden Child not One Direction. Aside from that I loved this album specially Fanfare and Spell. From the unit songs my favorite is Poppin. Also their other full album is full of unit songs too but they are all different units than this one. I actually like that they use their full albums to do units and think that is the correct way to promote any group that has more than 7 members. In full group songs you always have that one member that gets the short end of the stick and has few lines so having they separate in units is the best way showcase them better specially because they have 2 main vocals (Joochan and Y) and 3 lead vocals (Daeyeol, Seungmin and Jibeom). Even so I recommend the Without You album that is the repackage for their Reboot 1st full album and also the Take a Leap album (One Lucid Dream was the title track), and the Yes album (the one with burn it...remember that you already downloaded the whole album you just need to listen to the other songs!)

Golden Child is my ultimate group and imo, have the best discography in kpop. However, this album took a while to grow on me. The songs on this album are very woollim and have that golcha touch but not to the extent of their previous albums. I totally understand why people don’t like Bottom of the Ocean but it just reminds me of Disney and VBS music (iykyk) and I couldn’t help but fall in love with it. Sometimes nostalgia will overpower logic Their album Reboot (and repackaged ver.) has got to be one of my favourite albums in kpop and the unit songs on there are INCREDIBLE.

I've been wondering this for several listening parties now, but why is PD reading all the song credits now? With all due respect to everyone who puts so much effort into the music, I'm personally not really interested unless the members or another idol are involved, and if I do like a song enough to want to know who produced it, I can look it up myself. Like you, PD, Golden Child was mostly a title song group for me (I've heard a handful of b-sides, but not a lot), and I'm pretty sure this is the first album I've checked out in its entirety on my own -and I really enjoyed it overall. I like Spell a lot, and I hadn't thought it'd make a good title track, but I can definitely see what you mean. The MVs for the unit songs are interesting and fun, if you have some spare time or want to add them to the schedule in the future.

I love basically all the tracks on this album, bottom of the ocean’s throwback to old boy bands (being a big time rush fan myself) for me atleast was really enjoyable but I can always appreciate another opinion. My favorite track is either Ra Pam Pam or fanfare but once again I like them all.

All Golden Child's mini albuns are really good, I recommend their latest "YES"! Only good songs there, Cool Cool, Round N Round and Breathe are one of my all time favorites GCND bsides.

I would recommend their earlier albums (Gol-Cha!, Miracle, Wish and Goldenness ) there are more goup B-side and all of them are amazing! I actually fall in love with them because of their B-side from those albums especially the ballads are just beautiful !

I enjoyed your take on this album. Now I realize there are a lot who don't enjoy Bottom of the Ocean haha I'm one of those who do. And I like that appreciation you have for Daeyeol's solo! This song randomly plays on my mind on a daily basis, I love it so much! I'd recommend listening to YES (Burn It album) or Take A Leap (Lucid Dream album) for a look into their b sides!

I thought only me who didn't like bottom of the ocean😄 I enjoy all of Golcha's album. But i think, Golcha always has progression/improved in every album. Their albums like represent their growth, from a bunch of children to bunch of gentlemen 😁. So, for me, the latest album,has better quality than the prior albums

Thank you for doing this,wish I can hear you do Golden Child naother listening party soon!! They really have lots good songs~ Because they will release repackage,I don't want song will be missed because of that.You should check out another aongs with DDARA in repackage album,it called OASIS wrote by TAG~ Talked about album ,I like 1st full album! And I love take a leap and YES album!!!! But still lots songs in other album want to recommen like I see you,that guy,all day......
