One thing I really enjoy about this show is that Vincenzo and Cha-young don't always win, but even if they don't win you know there is always another layer or plan B which makes it so interesting to watch. And like you said this show isn't written like they are walking on egg shells which makes it so fun to watch! If you are looking for another show with Taecyeon I recommend Save Me which so good but really dark.

I agree that you could really tell in the writing of the show they didn’t hold back. It’s very apparent that the writers just wrote what would be the best story and didn’t hold back. I also feel like the comedic aspect of this show is one of the reasons it’s so special. I think the show would’ve been a lot less interesting (despite the intense revenge plot and taking down Babel) if not for all of the silly quirks of the characters and the funny situations that are gotten into

Vincenzo is like Legend of Zelda, as in Vincenzo would be Zelda and Hong Cha Young would be Link, or that's how I took the comparison.

i hate the term "mary sue" so much. this thing about "oh, it's an invincible woman, no flaws, is not realistic" and all that.... is how a great deal of male protagonists have exactly been portrayed across media forever. But suddenly, when instead of a male character is a female, people suddenly have a problem with it. I fucking hate it so much. That aside, great reaction, as always! I´m enjoying rewatching Vincenzo with you guys.

this is one of my favorite episodes too, i laughed so much with the series suddenly turning into a bl story in this episode and yeah i LOVE the way vincenzo is the main character but the whole story evolves around cha young's fight and how they highlight the women in this show without trying too much and portraited the sexuality of the chairman's son without making it a big deal how it happens on other shows and how you said i really like how this shows always express humanity in every character and showing that everyone has good and bad sides to them and just having every character to be so complex

This was such a fun episode and I am so happy we have new subs! I don't speak Korean but even I kept noticing weird translations (from the few words/phrases I recognize) so it'll be great to watch this series again with proper subbing and understanding.

You may be taking the wrong issue with it. Yes a great deal of male protagonists have been portrayed that way but…they’re also awful. Like Superman. He is one of the most BORING and difficult characters to write in fiction. Just because there are male characters who are written with no realistic flaws doesn’t mean female characters with no realistic flaws are OK. At least in my book. If you’re OK with flawless male characters then it’s fine to like flawless female characters too. Rather than having issue with the term Mary Sue, I feel like there should be a term for male characters that are also like that. Is there a male character that you think fits the same Mary Sue role but you or the general public likes them?

I just looove how this show is made. They don't take themselves too seriously and it makes us laugh with them. The Adrenaline scene is one of my favorite and not just because I enjoy watching handsome men ride horses. Just the way it was shot, all the details they highlighted. The sound of jacket being squeezed, the slowmo of ChaYoung dropping that carrot. All of it was just perfect. These details are what make the show good. And I need to take notes on how to seduce people from Vincenzo. When he touched president's neck to pick up that straw. I felt it. Like damn it was smooth
