I can luckily say that I have a group of like 5-6 friends for whom I'd go through hell and they would for me as well. I always thought that it's the same for everybody but in recent years I've learned that it's sadly not. I don't even wanna know what it's like if you don't have close friends you can truly trust.

As a huge fan of IU, I remember watching this show at the time and thinking I was really glad she joined this show. The stuff you said at the last bit of the video is very similar to who IU is basically. She has always said that the only thing she knows is work and no doubt she's good at it, but that's the only thing she knows. So seeing her in this show and the journey she takes... I'm just really glad. This journey was like a gift to her, and it's something we couldn't give to her as fans.

This show was really good for IU. I think she really needed some time to do something different and spend time with people that are very different than her while also bonding with Hyori, who she can relate with. I really appreciated seeing this side of her, and it's kinda healing for me to watch HER get some much needed healing too.

About that ending talk, I'm ND (autistic) and I have learned to 'switch my brain off' as I call it. I used to get overwhelmed a lot more often which usually ends with a complete shutdown (can't talk, can't look up, can't touch anything ... fun!) but once I accepted that it was gonna happen and that I needed to start working with and around my limitations, I got so much better at catching things before they get too bad. So when I start to feel bad I 'switch my brain off', I settle in a safe space (with my plushies hehe) with as little sensory input as possible and I do something that requires just enough focus to not think too much (usually playing games on my phone) I'm a couple years older than PD so I know how hard it is and how long it can take to accept that maybe you need to take better care of yourself. It can be so hard to turn that kindness towards ourselves but it can make life way easier in the end =)

It was at first a little funny but the more I think about it I think it's a little sad that all Jieun does is work to the point that when she's not working all she can do is space out or fall asleep. Like she doesn't even have friends that she can hang out with. I am really enjoying watching her get to meet more different and varied people and have interactions beyond what she does for work (even though technically she is at Hyori's to work). I can't wait for the next episode!

I also find speaking with older korean grandparents difficult....especially as a korean American. I was getting stressed out the first time watching the interactions with the grandparents but also understood the generation gap. It's just such a different pace and level of expectation
