Yeees I really enjoyed that song! Tbh that’s the first Somi song that I liked, I took a time to get used to the sudden rap portion (I feel like there could have been some kind of transition between the second verse and the rap) but I got used to it one way or another, it’s a 9/10 for me =D

the song was kinda okay-ish for me at first listen. it's not an instant banger like what you waiting for but now it's stuck in my head. glad to see that the song is charting really high in korean charts. wish the song could be longer though

Somi keeps mentioning that she's working on her album but we haven't been given an exact date yet as expected from yg/theblacklabel (we got Lisa's solo teaser and didn't even get a date with that 😐). Personally this is my fav song of Somi's yet! Birthday easily got stuck in my head but I didn't love the song itself. WYWF was such a good song but was also kind of forgettable for me idk why. Dumb Dumb is a great mix of the two. I love the song and it sticks in my head a lot more easily than WYWF. Edit: Lisa's solo debut date was just announced! September 10th :)

Personally I'm having a really hard time with this song, because there's so long between her releases, and because of how similar her sound is to Blackpink... Like they tend to blend in with 85% of blackpink's songs and I wish both YG and the BlackLabel would start mixing stuff up, because I'm tired of how similar it is without much to give a contrast, and I know they put out amazing songs, yet I get so disappointed everytime the stick with the same vibe.... But it has grown on me, so I have ended up placing it on my playlist...
