Oh my god, I can't believe you reacted to this! I've been suggesting it every time since you started the live stream requests but barely ever got any upvotes. Thank you PD 🥰

Liz

after this was released there were a lot of edits with the Ghibli animations I think this song matches its vibes, thanks for the reaction PD!

woah bts are my favourite boygroup and this is my favourite song on the mixtape yet i had no idea there was a full version😳

Harley

The full version was released on Hope World’s 3rd Anniversary! Hope had said recently he wants to try darker concepts for his next mixtape whenever it may be released!

I absolutely love this song, have both the outro and full version in my playlist. Btw, the voice does sound a bit quiet but not to the point that I can't hear it

If Im being honest I love the outro more than the full length. Not to say I don't love this version too cause I do its beautiful. Going off of what you said about him wanting more of the quieter days and clearer days compared to now. It might be reflecting on how hes felt being in the spotlight and how big BTS have gotten and all the pressure they have felt from it

Ugh I keep hitting enter by accident. I'm glad they have always been open and honest with us especially through their music. Its what makes them ome of thr most real artists Ive ever seen and listened to. I cant wait for his next mix tape! This is why hes my bias wrecker :)

I loved the outro -- it was my fav track on the mixtape. I DO love the full version a little more though because it sounds more complete and fleshed out to me. It reminds me a little of Tear in vibe actually, but calmer and quieter. It sounds lonely but like acceptance for the loneliness. I don't think I noticed the quiet vocal track until you pointed it out. I think to me it seemed more atmospheric and like the vocals were like complimenting the instrumentals rather than standing out. But yeah I hear it now -- it is quieter.

You have to be impressed with the versatility here. Vocals, rap, and then that signature j-hope melodic-rappy-cry at the end. And the lyrics and production?? He's such an ace. I liked the outro but I like the full version a little better. It's so j-hope but it's so different for him and I think it's such a skill (that artists work a lifetime for) to have such a definable brand but still be able to surprise and challenge your fans. j-hope is such an impressive artist to me. (Also, I literally listen to Hope World from start to end every single day--it's my happy place. haha)

Oh, I was so shocked to get this notification. Thanks you to whoever requested this. I’m also very happy we got a full version of blue side it’s always been a favorite of mine. I have a playlist where it’s just Blue Side 15 times and I listen to it on repeat whenever I feel in the mood for it. The original Blue Side on Hope World was 1:31 so a 3:19 track was much appreciated. Hoseok says he looks back at Hope World and sees a younger him and that he wanted to show a more mature side musically with the full version of Blue Side. He said with the original Blue Side he kind of wrote whatever he felt and just went with the flow. So he felt the need to finalized it so that’s how we ended up with Blue side full version. Also I liked the drowned out effect where it feels like you’re almost listening underwater.

I was so happy to read this and see that there are other Hope World enthusiasts here :D even though the mixtape was released more than 3 years ago but I still listen to it everyday! Personally, I feel like J-hope's artistry is the closest to me out of all the members, somehow we are on the same wavelength and I love everything he's produced or written so far

Personally I got a Spotify with different playlist, I will put music into them and repeatedly listen to specific new songs, however at some point my obsession with the new songs will fade, and I will put the playlist on shuffle. So to me, it's not enough for a song to simply be good, it has to also be something I can see myself listening to a couple years down the road, because I will eventually listen to it, and there is even a posibility that I will suddenly get an obsession with a 3 year old song again

I didn't know either, unfortunately the full version isn't on Spotify. I just checked. Perhaps I would have noticed through there! :D
