YES PD! FALL IN LOVE WITH JACOB HE IS THE ABSOLUTE CUTEST! Jacob is the second oldest in the group and he is known for his sweet and soft voice as well as being the angel in The Boyz because of how pure he is. So glad to finally see you reacting to this series, I’ve been waiting for this so thank you!

when I started learning the boyz' names, I could not for the LIFE of me tell juyeon and haknyeon apart lololol. i think it definitely depends on the era in which you decide to stan b/c hair color makes SUCH a big difference! thankfully jacob was blond at that point... and you're right, PD. despite haknyeon being very well-known b/c he was on Produce 101 (which is a whole other can of f*cking worms), he and jacob, who can be very soft spoken, really didn't get a lot of screen time or lines. things have gotten better over time, but even now there's room for improvement! ALSO it's the same here in the U.S. You have to ask for your blood type, it's not normally noted on "regular" forms you would see from your pediatrician or GP. Only when you're in the hospital is that information readily available

this is the very first series I ever watched of the boyz back in early 2018 and it was SOOO difficult for me to learn all their names and faces because they mostly all had similar hair. also like you, i kept mixing up kevin and hwall back then and also i think even new and sunwoo were hard for me to differentiate back then lmao

I think the first time I tried getting into the Boyz, I found New, Kevin, and Hwall very difficult to learn. The more recent time I tried getting into them, I think around RtK, I found Haknyeon and Jacob hard to differentiate. I think I got them all now, but Haknyeon and Jacob can still trow me if it's from the right angle

I don't think Jacob meant that they deliberately don't tell you your blood type in Canada, it's just not of much interest unless you specifically get your blood tested... I don't know my blood type either, I think it only got tested in one examination I had and I forgot it while still being at the doctor's office 😁

Surprisingly I never had that much difficulty learning The Boyz' names. I always knew Hwall and Younghoon even before I really got into them (though I did confuse Kevin and Hwall from time to time - but that's a given) and I think I got the rest down in like a week to a confidence level of maybe 95%? I think Jacob took the longest, but just in general, not because I confused him with someone specific, and Q and New took some time to properly distinguish. Other than that it's probably the group where I learned the names the fastest, in spite of them being 12 members! But I really went 0 to 100 on them when I finally took proper interest 😅

don’t ask me why or how cuz it still makes no sense to me, but i kept getting hak mixed up with sangyeon of all people. on the other hand, i could recognize jacob pretty quickly, i just kept switching his name with eric (i could recognize eric almost immediately, i just kept forgetting who had which name).

when i first got to learn the boyz i used to confuse jacob with haknyeon as well so i feel you pd lol and yes jacob is one of the cutest ever 😭 his speaking tone is so soft and cute i always find myself melting for him also that exam part omg i watched some clips of that before and now watching the whole thing is even funnier

I HAVE to get to know personalities before I can easily tell members of any group apart. But once I have a grasp on their personality I can recognize anyone almost instantaneously unless it’s a photo with a weird angle or something. I can’t imagine confusing any of The Boyz members now because their personalities are so VASTLY different from each other, but I remember when I saw their debut MV and was like “It’s a group of clones! How the hell will I ever tell them apart!” 😂 I think it was because their physical builds, height and hair color were all so similar. I think a big factor for me telling them apart was voice like some other people said. Like they have a WIDE range of vocal tones in the group and very distinctive speaking styles.

About the blood type thing: I live in Hungary, I'm 31 and I had no idea what mine was until last year when I had major surgery, but even then I had to specifically ask for it! I don't think it's weird at all to not know it.

Yeah, I'm in america and i still dont know my blood type. I mean, i guess i could just ask my doctor but i rarely go to the doctor haha. I think that's what he meant. It's not something we memorize or are told directly. I never thought Jacob and Haknyeon were similar....but then again, Jacob was one of the members i learned fastest since i knew the foreign members first. I mix up Hyunjae and Haknyeon the most.

It's really weird, I'm from south america and I know my blood type but because I had to know lol Allergies and stuff otherwise I don't think most people actually know.
