this show is so therapeutic I'm enjoying the rewatch after almost a year!!

I'm so glad you're enjoying it! In The Soop can feel a little slow for some people, but it really is very therapeutic to just watch them relax and do whatever, especially considering they dont really have the free time to do so in general. And im also glad to watch you discover a bit more about their personalities. Jin is by far the most interesting character for me, since he has so many different layers and what he chooses to show the audience here and there. He's extremely loud and annoying, especially when he's with Jungkook (which is a dynamic I love) but he's also very shy, very caring and somehow a motherly figure to them. Another thing I also love to see is how different their dynamics are within the group because they all have very specific and different types of friendships between them and they're all very special in their own way

it's so nice to see you starting to understand each of the member's quirks and sense of humour :) I think it'll make watching run bts and bon voyage super enjoyable for you once you've finished in the shop as you'll have this reference of how they are in a relaxed setting to compare to when they're on chaotic energy haha

GloomyBear

I’d like to know too! I really would like to see a reaction to BTS Butter 😊

Marcela Pereira

I haven't had time for the past couple of years to check bts' variety as religiously as I was doing and this is my first time watching this ep of in the soop and would be the rest of the series too.

I’m so happy I decided to watch this, was super therapeutic just as you said for me too. If you enjoy this I think you’d really enjoy their YouTube collab with the pds of New journey to the west. Their personalities shine even more there, the episodes are shorter as it’s just a miniseries and it’s hilarious

Ahhh in the soop.. its so therapeutic! I agree with others, I think watching Run and BV will be amazing for you after in the soop because you’ll have an idea of their relaxed side, so you will see the difference when they are in chaos.. Also, I badly want kimchi fried rice now. Though I’m a bad cook 😄

Petra Fuss

there are people that say that them cooking is the best part of the show and i kind of agree its so entertaining

Harley

Wait until you watch more then you really will feel the chaoticness that is Kim Seokjin lol. I'm curious what you're initial impressions of each member are and how it will change after watching the whole series

Angie

i find them waking up to be the funniest part, it's always so interesting and hilarious to see the maknae line struggling in the morning while the older members are having a whole sitcom.

I would like to recommend also watching the behind the scenes to the episodes. I know they are already long episodes, but maybe the behind the scenes could be on opposite weeks from the episodes? They have a fair amount of content, including a hilarious explanation of how Jimin ends up bruising himself (which might be one of my favorite parts of the season). Thank you for another great reaction! Definitely recommend watching on a full stomach because all of their meals end up looking so tasty. You will have a whole list of meal ideas by the end!

I'm glad you got weverse PD, I know it's hard to get, I don't like the way it works buying with the app when you could watch it on desktop. I had a hard time buying their online concert tickets, even recently with their festa content. Anyway, it's nice watching with you and I'm glad you seen BTS in their chill period. They can be chaotic, you'll see their personalities heightened in RUN and Bon Voyage (Into the Soop is their home-away-from-home version of that since covid). I love how you got Jin's personality. He's the group's mood maker as you say but he's also very shy and cares a lot. He's known to get very red (as you'll see in the future), it's adorable. He's a genuine sweetie, him and Suga are both my bias in the group. J-Hope is very vocal, I love how you just talked about his gusto-ness. If you ever listen to a stripped version of a song, expect J-Hope to be back vocals/noise maker most of the time. He's also the one that can beatbox. I hope to see more your reactions with other group members too. Anyway, I'm excited for next time, I'm glad you are getting that therapeutic experience we got last summer!

eli_nhdoaek

This was really therapeutic especially when they released it during the height of the pandemic. Im excited for you to see more of Jin’s personality 😂 he is really something special! Also if you’re gonna pic one episode to watch from Run BTS as a preview, my favorite is the Zombie episode! Never fails to make me laugh!

Giselle

Ah I just wanna point out that Jin has expressed discomfort over being described in a feminine light before. But he definitely is a very caring hyung to them like a parental figure

Giselle

I wanted to add a tidbit that you wouldn't know unless you really deep dive into their vlives or behind the scene. When going on tv shows, BTS has expressed that they're always nervous but Jin's loudness and chaotic energy make them less so and made them comfortable. He's actually painfully shy, his ears will go scarlet red when you pay attention to him but he uses his abrasiveness to lighten the mood and release the tension.

Random thing I just thought about while looking at each of the guys' postures but you can really tell who grew really early on and was a tallest member of like their class in school or friend group or whatever based off of their posture. Like I can tell for sure that Jin, V, and Jungkook grew tall younger than the others because of their constant posture being either hunched through their backs or necks even when they're alone. Personal experience with that aside (because I was a girl who grew tall before really anyone else around me did), Like yeah, you can get that from other stuff but specifically the way they do it reminds me of ppl around me who literally "grew up" early on. Also, I really enjoy watching this series with y'all, both PD and those of you in the comments, because it's really bringing me back into why I like BTS so much as people along with being performers. Both healing and relaxing, just like this trip that they were on I guess 😊

Megan Wall

It’s cute that they look for jungkook so much, it’s funnier since jimin and Tae don’t help with the cooking but jk helps with whatever is needed but he’s younger. I just find that so interesting.

DreamyStateOfMind

"He is so annoying" Pd about Jin while fondly grinning from ear to ear lol
