I miss VIXX! I think they should bring the melodrama back when they have their next comeback. It’s a big part of what makes VIXX, VIXX. They have never really pursued what’s popular they go their own way so why change now?

Having a VIXX comeback soon seems not that plausible anymore (at least with all of them), still, if someday they wish to work together again, I do hope they bring back that concept/feel they had before but reimagine it for the more modern times. I think K-pop is missing something really special and no groups are doing this kind of solid concepts anymore. At least Verivery is trying to do something similar, but they've got a different approach than VIXX, tho that really makes me excited for future Verivery's concepts when they get older and mature more.

Ravi's hat always reminded me of the tin man from wizard of Oz. he was made of metal parts and had a big desire for a heart so that also kind of fits into the story. but I don't really know if it had a meaning haha also this will always be one of my favorite videos in kpop ever. i wish if they came back they still would do like a concept, but I understand that doing something big like this won't really work anymore. but like still a story line would fit them really good :)

I LOVE THESE THROWBACK VIDEOS!! Thinking about their style and concept, it is true that there is nothing like this nowadays, compared to other groups, which were "replaced" by newer ones. Maybe Oneus are kind of close to them, but not completely. Personally my favorite song by Vixx would be Eternity

This is the song that I discovered and got into VIXX by after seeing the end choreo in a comp video 4 years ago. I really miss them and this style of songs/ MVs. These really are some of my favorite things in the kpop realm.

So many years later and this song still makes me cry... I feel like I can't help but cry because of Vixx these days. I was really banking on a post-military comeback, you know? But now that Hakyeon left Jellyfish, Hongbin had the most understated scandal ever and also left Jellyfish, Ravi is busy w/ 2D1N and GROOVL1N, Ken and Leo are both on the downlow with musicals, Hyuk is basically single-handedly keeping the Vixx YouTube channel and insta alive... I'll support our maknae forever, even if it's with a heavy heart...

This is my first time watching this! I’m not too familiar with vixx either (I started getting into kpop in 2018), but i think this was very interesting. If/when they have a comeback I’d hope for them to stay true to themselves and do something concept driven/melodramatic, that would be really interesting to see nowadays

I love Vixx! They have always been one of my favorites! As for the ending, it's easy to miss, but basically after the girl died, Hongbin is in so much pain from losing her that he decides to take out his heart and make himself into a machine, thinking this will make him forget her and his pain. They show this in the scene where he takes off his shirt. Also, the first scenes of the M/V are him waking up after the operation with no memory. But then he sees her and all the memories come back. So yes they are both androids at the end. The only thing left at the very end is Hongbin's machine heart. I always thought it was kind of based off the tin man from Wizard of Oz. He thought because he was tin, he didn't have a heart and therefore couldn't love, but in actuality he could. This is also what I think they were trying to reference with Ravi's hat. It looks a lot like the tin man's hat. But it still looks ridiculous. Lol

What we SHOULD talk about is how the computer shows an error in her left arm, and then Hongbin removes her right arm & fixes it. 🤔 Nobody does it like VIXX, though. They're the original Concept-dols & no one else has such solid, fleshed-out themes - at least not as consistently as VIXX. You should've watched the dance practice if what you wanted was to see the dance. Silly PD. I'm honestly kinda angry that Kingdom is happening while VIXX is on enlistment hiatus; just think of all the GLORIOUS performances they could do on that show. When VIXX comes back (I'm still holding out hope, don't ruin it!), I hope they stick with what they're good at, because damn do I miss what they brought to the Kpop scene.

Awww baby Youngji too. I think this is like right after she debuted in KARA with Mamma Mia. DSP tried to promote her HARD with the cameos in MVs and variety gigs back then. Miss her doing music. This is also one of my favorite VIXX tracks. It was also one of the first times, in KPOP, where I’ve heard an idol singing low. Like, lower than their speaking voice. It’s more common now, but everything was very high pitched back then. The only low tones were rapping.

Still are concept kings this whole video has always reminded me of an Ishiguro novel for some reason so it always gets to me. Vixx are complete legends and we just ignore Ravi’s hat. Throwback recommendation has to be either Infinite- The Eye or Block B- Her/Very Good. The BAP/Vixx/Infinite/Teen Top/Block B/Big Bang/Shinee/etc etc times were just... there are no words!
