A much requested series: Welcome to 'THROWBACK THURSDAY'! (such an original title ammirite?)

On the first episode of Throwback, we check out MBLAQ's "This Is War". Surprisingly, I've never seen this before and... Wow. Let's just say I both loved and hated this experience. Kind of like the "it's so bad it's good?" genre? Watch a long and judge for yourself!

Let me know what you guys thought of this MV and song in the comments below (lmk if you've seen it before or if it's your first time cus I think that influences a lot!) and also leave suggestions for the next Throwback Thursday and our Autumn tier patrons will vote on it!

And I believe the term you're looking for is "Florence Nightingale Syndrome," in which a patient falls for their care giver. Looking forward to more of this series!!

It would be amazing if you could check out the movie-like music videos from T-ara like Day by day+Sexy love(those two combine one story) or Cry Cry +Lovey Dovey(combine a story as well). Those were extremely unique and iconic in my opinion. Their label mates SPEED have also a similar set of music videos That's my fault + It's over. The music video has a story about the 1980 Gwangju uprising.

Regardless of how outdated and ridiculous the mv is, you gotta admit that the song was great. I had a whole MBLAQ phase about 2 or 3 years ago, where I checked out the majority of their title tracks and this is one of my favorite songs by them even though the mv makes no sense whatsoever lmao

I absolutely loved MBLAQ. It's such a shame what happened to them. Mir has been quite vocal about the distress he was in when the group was split apart.

I found out about Kpop (and Jrock) around 2009-2010, obsessed over it for an entire summer (especially 2NE1) right before starting high school, which made me listen to many other genres and slowly forget about it... then came back to it early 2017, discovering B.A.P., MX, GOT7 and BTS and stayed ever since. Never leaving again, worst mistake ever lol. But our hiatus kind of overlaps.

I also had a break from k-pop between 2012 and 2016 where I only focused on the groups that I already knew so I'm loving this concept. I'd suggest Bbi Ri Bba Bba by Narsha (Brown Eyed Girls) or Sunny Hill - the grasshopper song

Kim Jaejoong - Mine, and then Xia Junsu - Flower. All of these songs are amazing. There's also Shinhwa - Whistle, and B.A.P - 1004, which are both super good.

just watched this! i already expected you're going to react that way with the bullet scene hahaha. i used to be soooo amazed with this song and the music video when it was first released. watching this again made me feel nostalgic. i realized now in 2021 that some scenes are really cringey, but back then as a teenager, i used to feel sooo emotional over this hahaha. thank you!!
