I'm glad you're enjoying the series so far, I agree that it's super fun. Sadly, some members didn't get to participate, but all of the pairs we do get are extremely awkward, which is terrible for my acute sense of secondhand embarrassment.

Hey PD! It's so funny how you mentioned Doyoung's acting because the trailer for his MBC drama, Cafe Midnight Season 3: The Curious Stalker, just got released today lol. And hahah I definitely agree with you, I didn't think Gongmyung and Doyoung looked alike lol. But, their interactions on each other's instagrams are super cute and wholesome!

Hi PD! I've recently found out Renjun's enthicity is Korean actually. He went to a Korean bilingual school in Jilin. He identifies as Chinese and has never mentioned this. Some speculate that it may be due to discrimination since he has already been accused of being North Korean in the past due to the characteristic accent of the China-Koran border (I have also read that his accent changed when he arrived in South Korea for this reason). This is just information I have read from various sources but it has not been confirmed by Renjun or SM. So let's just appreciate Renjun's uniqueness. I also think is cute how he knows a lot about 2000's tv Koran culture and trot since he watched old soap operas with his grandma. Doyoung and Renjun have been really close since this episode was filmed. It’s crazy that just a bit of fun content has facilitated not only this friendship but also a few more that you’ll see in upcoming episodes of Awsaz like Chenle and Jungwoo
