Just for context, there’s a whole inside joke about Renjun’s shoulders among NCT. They mock him for his narrow shoulders calling him “Shoulder Gangster Renjun” 😂😂😂😂 So Haechan specifically picked shoulders because of that 😂😂

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, PD! And yes, Haechan is literally the worst - which is why it's crazy that he's my bias; and yes, nothing NCT does is really straight - esp not this series. 😆

Renjun was born near the border of China and Nth Korea in Jilin and grew up speaking both Mandarin and Korean, plus Korean was his favourite subject in school. That's why he's so fluent. I hadn't really thought of him looking like any older idols but a lot of people say he and Dongmyeong from ONEWE look alike; part of the saga of idols that look more like the twins than the twins themselves 😂 This series is easily my favourite variety NCT has done, looking forward to rewatching it with you

I mean, NCT is probably one of the only groups that can actually admit some members don't talk at all even like 4 years after debut. Interestingly enough, Doyoung and Renjun actually have gotten way closer. So Mark and Haechan telling them what to say probably really broke the ice for them. And about Mark, I think they acknowledge somewhere in the series that Mark could only ever participate in the series if it was with a Wayv member but Mark, in general, isn't a very awkward person to be around so, even with Wayv, he probably still won't be awkward enough to be in the series.

To get to know the chinese members of NCT Dream, they did a chinese lesson class with Renjun and Chenle as the teachers and NCT 127 as the students (mark, jungwoo, taeyong, doyoung). NCT Chinese Express Secret (3 episodes i think)

The episodes are broken into 2 parts so episode 1 has episode 1-1 and episode 1-2. Loved the reaction honestly Haechan did them so dirty.

Renjun doesn’t have an accent because he grew up in Jilin, a city in China near the border of North Korea. He grew up bilingual!!! :)

this is honestly some of the best content nct have released. Haechan is just the perfect MC for this. I cant stop laughing the cringe is surreal. unfortunate that we couldn't keep him for the other ones. or the fact that there's only 5 (6) episodes ughhh!
