the formation is made based on their final ranking at pd48, that why wonyoung is always in the center since she got 1st place, and chaeyeon for exemple is on the back bc she got 12th place,

I would say they don't feel as into the dance because of how often they had to do it. Even for IOI and Wanna One after a certain point they all got tired of doing their pick me's because whenever they go onto shows they are always asked to dance to it. Also on the Jurina point she is an absolute idol, if I'm remebering correctly she debuted at the age of 11 and just recently annouced her graduation from SKE in 2020. And another idol that I think would have killed the dance but was not on PD48 is Kashiwagi Yuki, my kami oshi in the 48 groups(if you know you know), she has been an idol for so long and I feel that she is the pinacale of what an idol should be whether it be kpop, jpop, cpop, or any other form of music.

Damn, that's the first time I saw their performance of this since i watched PD48 and you're totally right, imo it doesn't really feel like a song for IZ*One but rather for the Produce series. I guess that's the main reason you mostly see Wonyoung, Sakura and a bit of Yuri as they were placed the highest (1st Wonyoung, 2nd Sakura, 3rd Yuri). Also it's tailored as a standard dance routine all girls had to practice, that's why there's no variation in their dances per person. But I suggest you check out the dance practices for all of their title tracks, I'm not that big of a dance practice viewer myself but I often come back to theirs as they are insanely good.

I was not planning to watch this as this *is* Nekkoya that I've seen a bajillion time, but I was intrigued by the comments mentioning Jurina so of course I had to watch it. As for IZ*ONE's formation, the formation is based off of their Produce final rankings so the three people you see at the back are actually (from left to right) Chaeyeon, Chaewon and Minjoo (12th, 10th and 11th, respectively). So yes, there is an inherent unfair center time for everybody and it was a rotation of Wonyoung, Sakura and Yuri (1st, 2nd and 3rd, respectively). Also, I don't want to be the one to break it to you... Produce 48 had **96** trainees in the first episode, lol. I must agree with your thoughts about Jurina. She was my kami-oshi (ultimate bias) when I still had the time to check J-pop groups, and she is just a cut above the rest. Her facial expressions are just amazing. I tried to watch Sakura's solo fancam of Nekkoya but when Jurina popped in her camera a bit, Jurina literally distracted me. Much as you think it's a tragedy that Jurina isn't in K-Pop, I think it's better for her to not be in it. She had been taking rests plenty of times prior to Produce 48 and when they were filming for the show, there was also AKB48's General Election for their summer single (to which Jurina won the center position) but Jurina got under fire for her comments. She had to take a mental and physical break for three months. I can't bear to see her taking knetz harsh comments. She has endured so much, she doesn't need to be exposed from knetz' anonymous toxicity. Anyway, I am looking forward to your future reactions to IZ*ONE's Eating Trip in Sokcho! I know you don't normally react to Chinese stuff, but could you react to Idol Producer's theme song (Ei Ei), Qing Chun You Ni's theme song (Take Me There/Youth Has You), Youth With You's theme song (Yes Okay!), and Produce 101 China's theme song (Pick Me), and Produce Camp's theme song (Call Me Call My Name), and Chuang 2020's theme song (You Are Everything To Me), and We Are Young's theme song (We Are Young)?? [*If you didn't know already, these are China's version of the Produce series. I personally think that these are better since they do seem to let all trainees actually shine in each episode, unlike Mnet.]

I might have cried while watching iz*one perform nekkoya. I agree tho, the works they put out as iz*one is definitely better than expected, people didn’t expect them to have such a good debut song. I really commend their management for iz*one’s whole concept and discography because it suits them and it really shows their potential as compared to the cute-sy side of pd48. They have grown so much that I’m actually emotional, similar to the mix of happiness/sadness I feel when panorama’s outro plays lmao :(

I was honestly caught offguard with the Jurina opinions. Makes me wonder if PD actually watch PD48 or at least attempted to watch PD48. Because i recommend him to watch PD48. Well just the first two episode during the initial evaluation. If PD was still planning on making iz*one analysis video. Having PD48 as your reference and see the group's member evolution and growth. Because one of the major criticism for iz*one debut was talent. Anyway going back to Jurina. Definitely she had a shot on making the group. Producers would have include her because she one of popular participant from the akb side (sorry scandal is a sad reality for iz*one). Regardless of the rigging scandal, Jurina along with Sakura were the only two participants from AKB that had legitimate shot on getting to iz*one through voting.

Do you know how I could get to know AKB better? I know some of their songs because of the anime I watched when I was younger but never new where to start when it came to get into the group.

It took so long for PD to get into IZ*ONE It took 3 episodes of Produce48 for me to get into JoYuri forever <3 Thanks to that I'm in love with IZ*ONE

whoa did not expect u to be a jurina fan! i get it tho. when i was watching the fancams, if she was in the background i couldn't help but look at her... such a great and true professional. idk how likely it is for u to start reacting to produce 48 but i live in hope!! all izone fans should see it! and see what exists of jurina's time on the show too 😭

Daaaaang.... Jurina lives on in our hearts. Without me knowing anything, likes names or stuff (cuz as you said, it's really hard with Japanese content), Jurina was actually one of my first idol-loves. My first ever AKB48 song was Oogoe Diamond (i think you write it that way? I'm not sure .-. ) and I just loved her in that MV. It was only all these years later, when she appeared for Produce that I actually learned her name, and her solo cam for Pick Me is definitely one of my all-time favorite videos to watch, like no joke,
