I absolutely love Hui and his voice. I feel like Hui himself is a little bit known better than Pentagon as a group. But Hui has a few other great stages. I hope after you finish watching Good Girl, you can watch Breakers

As a ptg stan no one really takes interest in our boys much despite us asking and so many of us don’t request things of people as ferverently bc people ignore pentagon who imo are the most under appreciated group in kpop along with perhaps N.flying (but that’s a k band so idk if that counts)

Breakers is AMAZING! It's kind of like Queendom for Solo Artists. I think Hui was the only Idol on it (except for Key who was the MC for the Show!)

Hui is such an outstanding artist in general, his work as a songwriter and producer is amazing and I love to see him working for other artists outside of Pentagon too, it shows how much respect the industry have for him (and he has written so many hits like Energetic???? Can we say legend???) I'm really sad to see him enlisting so soon, but I'll patiently wait for him to comeback and hope that he'll keep thriving

Omggg i was not ex[ecting this but I’m so happy you reacted to it !!!! Bout to go on a rant but as someone who ults both Hui and pentagon, it is,,,so disheartening to see all their hard work ignored. I know that happens to plenty of groups but it feels like pentagon have just not gotten ANY of the credit they have deserved since debut. Like watching them grow since debut, they have always been this talented. Even before debut. If you watch Pentagon maker you can see their passion for performing and all of their talent as performers. They have one of the best, if not THE best vocal lines of the past few years and even if Jinho and Hui weren’t there like all the vocalists have the ability to be a main vocalist. They have AMAZING title tracks AND b sides, amazing choreography and concepts. And tbh their duality and diversity is unmatched. They literally do everything and can go from Dr. Bebe to humph or naughty boy and its totally natural either way. And I think you’re totally right, Hui is an amazing composer and he always has been (even if you listen to the small snippet he played of one of his first songs its so good ??) and his strength is being able to harness his emotions. I think pentagon are a pretty emotional group in general tbh and you can really tell how much they genuinely love each other and think of each other as family. I know that lots of other groups deserve more attention than they get and I’m EXTREMELY biased but I think pentagon have so much more talent than people have given them credit for and while I love and miss Dawn with pentagon he was NOT the only good thing about them. Okay rant over, stream daisy and Stan pentagon for free serotonin :))

I agree, Pentagon has one of the best vocal lines in kpop. They are like the only group that I listen to ballads from and always like them. They also have one of my favorite discographies in general. I thought they were underappreciated before, but watching road to kingdom and especially watching Basquiat again just frustrates me. Daisy was amazing and after listening to the album, I almost immediately purchased it.

thank you for checking out these performances! Pentagon is my ultimate group and what I keep noticing is that people, who are not fans or casuals tend to single out one member to lay all the praise upon. As you said back in Shine era it was Dawn and now it is Hui. Because of that people overlook that the other members and especially Kino, Wooseok and Yuto are really good composers too, which is the reason why I'm not worried about Hui's enlistment at all (He himself said, that the group is made up of 9 Huis). Especially Hui's and Kino's styles of composing have become kind of similar lately too, but in a weird way, like Daisy sounded very much like a Kino song to me, when I first listened to it and Twenty-Twenty sounded like a Hui song ... they're not imitating each other though ... it's really confusing! I'm really excited to see what they'll sound like without Hui (and Jinho) :) I just hope people will not stop listening to them, because they think Hui is all Pentagon have! He's their precious leader and an absolute genius, but the Maknaes/Mayonnaise are Pentagon's other backbone ;)

Navigation is also worth checking out from breakers. Also Hui is the main producer for Pentagon, but Kino also produces and I think Wooseok does as well. So chances are we still have some good songs from Pentagon. I don't know if you know the song Violet from them (Kino wrote it) and maybe check their latest album out as well. The songs on there are credited towards Hui and KIno mostly + Plus wooseok has taken part in all the songs as well. Other songs I think you should react to are their diss tracks towards each other. They are so fun to listen to : the songs are round 1 and round 2. The song Genius is also great and emotional song and maybe check out Thank you sung by JInho and Hui from their earlier work as well.

Thank you for this. I really appreciate your reaction on this. I agree that from outside looking in he is the underrated singer and produccer but if we’d think about it, he’s now getting a lot of aong request from the music industry and a lot of idols i think looks up to him. I just hope that koop fans will appreciates him the way his fans and the music industry does. Now that hui is going to enlist, if you want the preciew of how is it gonna look like. Listen and react please to Love Rain cover of Pentagon in Immortal Song. It contains only of 8 memebrs (no jinho and hui) andnit showcases hongseok as main vocal. Please i hope you do. And as an extra, watch too pentagon’s cover of lovesick girls and band cover of daisy. Thank you

UGH YES YES YES 💥 hui absolutely does not get the credit he deserves. He along with BI are my absolute fav producers. There is just something diff about the songs they produce that just hit u. Anyway not just Hui but pentagon as a whole is so underappreciated it kills me. I feel like a broken recorder for saying this over and over again but people need to stop sleeping on Pentagon. When you get to know pentagon a little more you'll realise that many of the other members are fantastic songwriters as well and they rly hold their weight in the bsides. Usually groups will have that one or two members who composes songs but ptg is basically a group of producers and composers. Not to mention the vocals in this entire group is all around TOP TIER. I mean jinho and hui in one group???? aghhhhhhhh 😩
