It’s totally fine that you’re confused! This group was formed from a variety show called Favorite Entertainment. You can watch it on Viki. They had open auditions for a “trot idol group” and then they formed the group from there. It was actually extremely heart-warming and very funny. And yes, agreed, Hui is the best singer. I actually watched the show because of him but grew to love all of the members.

I didn't think your reaction was overtly negative at all! It was hilarious and honest!! as said in the comments above this group was formed through a variety show. The show was actually really funny and nice. The goal was to form something like a Trot-BTS-Idol thing, but I don't think it really worked ... :) but I don't know what the trot world thinks of this ... Anyway hope you keep hating Trot ;) and still watch things like this from time to time!

Also Hui was filming this show while on Road to Kingdom... And some of the fancams of him performing with the group he is so extra like in the video. Your No's regarding MJ being in the group were hilarious, I feel like I don't mind watching trot but wouldn't listen to it on a regular basis.

Haha it's ok xD tbh in the show when they were trying to make this trot group they did mention how hyungseok looks older than his age and they had a challenge to make him look the part of a trot idol group hahaha the show is pretty entertaining to watch especially since making a trot idol group is definitely something new to see xD

hyungseok actually looked older at the beginning of the show (he worked as a bus driver and gave up on trying to be a singing ten years ago after he was named a trot prodigy when he was in high school) but during the show he went through a makeover and looks much younger and put together now while jinwook is a college student training to be an actor (and two members of a.cian were actually on the unit a few years back, the show that formed unb and uni.t ^^)
