About the set, they said that the CGI background set for the VMAs was a backup option because the weather was bad in Korea on that day so I think this was their original setup for the award show & since it was ready they used it here.

I love that this time it wasn't CGI 🥰 The way they're interacting with things on set is so cool and add something new to the song/mv. It can sounds strange but actually I prefer this video in some aspects than original MV 🤣

They shot this in Everland! (Hope Kook got to see the ad for his birthday that was showing on the ferris wheel there lol) But seriously, this is also one of my favorite performances of them ever and im so glad they're finally able to show hoe amazing their performances can be on US television instead of being locked on small stages

i loved this set too!! im really bummed out that they couldn't have a real-life set for the VMAs bc of the rain but i think they came up with a quick solution 😁 i would love to see you react to their Tiny Desk performance from today, it was so interesting having a live band plus their amazing live vocals, i feel like you'd love it 💜💜

I think what really really makes the Dynamite live performances (and omg there have been SO MANY of them this year) every time is how utterly infectious their vibe/expressions/performances are. Like their stage presence is always amazing, but Dynamite is such an unabashedly happy and groovy song, and they totally feel like they're 100% all out happy and grooving for every performance. I always think I'm going to get tired of another Dynamite performance (and tbh sometimes thinking about it I wish it were another song) but somehow I always end up enjoying all of them without it feeling tired or repetitive.
