YES YES YES

I feel like Seunghee really got ALOT of lines here, she usually dont have alot of lines, Only highnotes/adlibs. Really happy for her! She even got the center parts for the chorus. Totally Seunghee era, she killed it.

Really feels like if you compare Yeeun pre and at the start of Good Girl to now, you can actually see how much more confident and charismatic she is now its awesome

Personally I think Sorn and Elkie did get a good amount of line distribution in other title tracks, especially Sorn I always noticed got a lot of line distribution but in Helicopter, Elkie didn't get a whole lot but I think it was because the style wasn't fully for her voice if she had other lines. This is for sure Seunghee and Yeeun's era cause they both have lines and centre and owned this era. Even listening to Hobgoblin and Black Dress in this you can hear the change in a lot of them and the maturity, especially in Yeeun. All in all love this video so happy to see something I requested come up!

One of my, not critique but “hopes” for Ye Eun has always been: give her more confidence and she will MURDER as a rapper. Her offscreen personality has come off as very shy and so has her rapping. Her rapping SKILL was always there, but I always felt like she had something untapped.

Ever since I knew CLC I've always thought Yeeun was the most marketable member of the group. So I'm not that surprised that for once Cube chose to put her on the forefront (especially with her coming triumphally out of Good Girl). I agree Yujin's and Elkie's parts are not really substantial but hey, there's only so much you can expect with a 7-member team to be fair with. Do 5-minute songs, then you'll have enough time to do justice to everyone!

Skipz12

I feel like Yeeun has pretty impactful parts always but her popularity post good girl def was a factor for putting her so much in the front. I was happy to see Seunghee shine a bit more!

On the note about the music video: I agree completely. CUBE can obviously put money into mvs for singles if they decided to (DUMDi DUMDi), but the Helicopter mv definitely FELT and LOOKED like a single and not anything meant to promote the group or song

Sorn actually has a lot of lines, if you include her adlibs in the second chorus. Yeeun is third, Sorn is second and Seunghee is first.

I feel like they are so much more confident as performers now. It makes me really happy to see

Jeebs92

the one Cube does is find amazing female rappers since you have IMO two of the best female rappers in KPOP right now in Yeeun and Soyeon

Yueen’s confidence and stage presence evolved and grew SOO much during and after Good Girl, compared to before. Before she was Shy and didn’t want to stand out too much... but after she tasted Good Girl, she grew the experience and confidence her raps and stage presence has been VERY insane lately.

2021-07-18 05:16:21 I like CLC in general, I know Yeeun is a great rapper, and I'm so into Dreamcatcher Dami and Oh My Girl Mimi, but I'm gonna pay more attention to Yeeun from now on <3

Seungyeon did have the most center time actually, atleast according to the distribution video I watched. I think she's been #1 in their last several songs (which she definitely deserves)

It’s true Sorn didn’t get a lot of center focus in this comeback but a lot of background adlibs are her and Seunghee. I’m Sorn biased but was so happy to see Seunghee in the middle this much! It’s a smart move to show off Yeeun since Good Girl was such a hit and she killed her lines!

I think with Yeeun she REALLY gained a lot of confidence through Good Girl. They felt so much like a family and her being surrounded by tough women who had high standards, forced her performance skill up. I've already requested this, but give Good Girl a shot! It was super eye opening for me about each cast member which some, not going to lie, I had a lot of negative bias towards prior. As for Yeeun, I honestly never paid the most attention to her in CLC, but after GG I for sure notice her the most now!

Good Girl was definitely my favourite Korean music-related competition I have come across, because it didn't pit the women forcefully against each other and they were shown through a non-biased lens unlike some shows that have editing that could make the kindest individual seem bitter and bratty. The show also had such a great mix of veteran performers and new names, and I really loved how some of the women were from different genres! I found some new faves, (especially Youngji. How was GG the first time I heard of her??) and got a fresh look at some of the performers I was already familiar with (Yeeun, Jamie, Jiwoo, Hyoyeon). It was really cool to see Yeeun's growth, since she was so new to solo performances. I'm really excited to re-watch the series if PD picks it up!

Yeah I agree, I've rewatched the show so many times (which I rarely do). The point about editing is super true! It felt like the Good Girls VS everyone rather than the usual internal conflict which made for a wholesome story. You aren't alone, I hadn't heard of Youngji before either but she put on the most memorable performances in all of GG for me. Hope you check it out PD!!
