I loved it right off the bat! But I'll admit that it wont be my favourite like Lion and Hann are. I still respect this attempt at a Summer bop and I do think it's up there to be a summer song of the year. Btw, is there any info on the listening party of I Trust?

I think she song is good but it's not up to par with their recent releases like OMG and lion. As you already said they went a safer route and I always liked that they put out songs which are risky in it's sound. I feel like the song could have come from another as well. But I still enjoy it nonetheless.

Hi, PD! Since you mentioned how your opinion of songs change overtime, what about making videos on that? Like which songs you like better than your first listen, it can be a series

Josue Hernandez

I agree, it’s not their best, but it’s still a banger, a bop and I’m obsessed. To me it shows how high the bar is for them. That is catchy ass song isn’t their best is a compliment imo.

In a live he said that he hasn't checked it out and will probably do it privately.

As for Shuhua... it seems pretty obvious to me that this song was written in part to showcase Miyeon & Yuqi, who had very few lines in "Oh my god". Miyeon in particular REALLY got to shine in "DUMDi DUMDi". Shuhua had entire verses in "Uh Oh", "Lion" and "Oh my god" so it doesn't surprise me that she had less in this song - I haven't watched a line-distribution video but my impression is that Minnie and Soyeon also had fewer lines than in "Oh my god", in which they were VERY prominent. I was exceptionally happy that Soyeon changed up the song structure this time around, probably due to working with PopTime as her collaborator rather than Big Sancho. The structure of her compositions were starting to sound very similar and she needed to shake it up, which she did.

I"m a huge fan of (g)-idle and I definitely was not feeling the song when it first came on. I love their epic concepts and I was so sad that this was just a summer song. But it really has grown on me and I am surprised by that. Is it wrong that I want them to just keep pushing the envelope :/ I need to manage my expectations a bit I think

RobotoMon

Soyeon said on her VLive that she focuses on lyrics and pronunciation over music. Since there are 3 foreign members, she tries her best to give everyone lines, while trying to make the best quality. Shuhua might've had more lines, but she doesn't look bothered at all from watching her I-Talks and bts of mufully. She also stated she doesn't want alot of lines until she feels more confident.

RobotoMon

Every (G) Idle songs are bops, that's why i dont have a ranking for them Xd

Soyeon has been saying since almost before OMG being released that she wanted to do a "bright" summer song next. This is what this is, and she did it well. Not everything has to have some high concept.

usually i love their music but this song just isn't it for me. It's fun and I'll listen to it a bit but compared to Lion and Oh My God it's not that good. However I am happy to see that it seems like a lot of people are paying attention to this comeback-- the MV has so many views already. I hope it brings the girls more fans!

Talise Snyder

also I found their outfits weird in this video, I don't like how their black shorts show under their dresses it doesn't fit. I understand if they want to wear shorts because their skirts are so short but instead they could have just had longer dresses so the shorts wouldn't show

taylor

the song didn’t jump out to me initially and it still isn’t really my cup of tea, but i do like the beat and agree it’s a major ear worm. also bonus points for soojins haircut!!!

Ryuusei023

FYI Soojin had a hand in the styling of this comeback. What people really need to understand is that (G)I-DLE is a self-producing group that releases whatever song they want whenever they want, and that they don't follow a specific concept. Just because they did all these dark and mysterious concepts the past couple MVs doesn't mean they should continue doing that. This was honestly a "palette cleanser" for me and I love that they try out different concepts. Then there are people who say that their music isn't their cup of tea because it's not easily digestible, but when they release something like this, they say it's generic. That just blows my mind.

Peter Yuen

I agree, that they should try something new, if they continue to their dark concept, than peoples would say it’s been done before, everybody is a critic these days, Can’t they just enjoyed it, if not don’t watch it.

Otto

I have this song in my head all the time, didn't happened this to me since LATATA :P (btw i like all their songs and b-sides of course).

SYFG

This songs most definitely has an earworm quality... I enjoyed listening it on Spotify much more than watching the MV in YouTube

This song definitely grew on me. I didn't like it in the beginning, but now I can't get the song out of my head!

I've just noticed... Both the mall and the factory settings are the same as Stray Kids' Back Door MV 😋
