Surprised you didn't like Butterfly although I do admit it isn't their most unique title track, but holy hell it's here. I finally get to see your reaction to the beautiful mess Pantomime.

100% agree with you with Where You Are being their usual title track sound. I like to think of it as a spiritual successor to Dreams Come True.

Neverland is up there for one of my favorite albums this year along with BLOOM*IZ and Tree of Language. All the songs are just so good especially Pantomime and HOLA. Although I actually like Butterfly, I do agree it's not really on par in terms of quality with their previous title tracks.

For a moment I wasn't sure how you thought of Pantomime lol

I knew you would like this album! Your confused face during Pantomime was great! And I also agree that this album is one of their best albuns yet...followed really close by their As you Wish album. I really get your frustrations about their last 3 title tracks (Boogie Up, As you wish and now Butterfly)...every ujung has been also complaining about the same thing: that Starship has been so fixated in gaining public recognition with WJSN that they are chasing the "public friendly" sound but every comeback is becoming more generic sound wise. Don't get me wrong....WJSN's fandom has been growing, their physical sales are growing every comeback...this album sold amazing but I'm tired of being disappointed with the title track and only liking the much superior B-sides of the album...The last title track from them that I was 100% on board was Save me save you...the other albums between it and Neverland the title has been always my least favorite song of the album. And about Exy...what we can confirm is that she at least writes her own raps for every song but since the Dream your Dream album she's been learning to compose too. In the Neverland album she helped compose Tra-la.. other members that also showed that they can write and compose are Dawon and Seola...Seola wrote the lyrics and helped compose Our Garden.

Oh....and I don't know about Where You Are and Butterfly being switched as title track or not...but Where You Are was the B-side they promoted and performed together with Butterfly in music shows...so maybe you are on to something here..

I really don't know what happened here. 'Butterfly' is a nice song but as a WJSN title track it was very disappointing and i think 'Where you are' should have been it. Sometimes i think whoever manages these groups doesn't understand music at all. Or maybe new people joined the decision making teams prior to new EPs? IDK but something is going wrong when weak and generic songs are chosen as title tracks. Sometimes we know while a more or less inferior song is chosen as title, like with GFRIEND 'Crossroads'. It was the title because they wanted to finish their story, but i think most think that 'Labyrinth' should have been the title? Sometimes nobody knows why something as generic as 'Butterfly' or Twice's "More and More' was deemed worthy as a title track when they are clearly filler material for an EP.

I love Butterfly. People seem to hate it because it doesn't sound like old WJSN songs. That's the type of music they've been releasing for 2 years now, maybe it's time to assume this is their style now and not judge it based on their older title tracks...just food for thought! And, Starship probably wants them to rack some wins and get more popular, so they need a more catchy sound for the title track. Honestly, is seems like it's working and they're gaining in popularity, so it justifies their decision in the end...

Bc of this comment, and after re-listening to this song on this listening party, i will now consider it a spiritual successor to Dreams Come True, Thanks <3
