I personally thought that they wanted to highlight Coups too. I could be overthinking this but during the first pre chorus when Minghao sang, you can see almost everyone was out there hanging out but we don’t see coups (I’m basing this off hair colour). Coups appeared when Vernon started rapping but everyone was gone. He looked up to the sky where everyone was during the chorus. I did a search on google and it said that alpacas may symbolise “the deep trust and faith you have in your own personal journey”. Coups was feeding them and I guess we can look at it in a way that he was building up that trust and faith in his own journey while he was away from the boys (like when he took his much needed break). Afterwards, he joined them but while they were out in the sun, he stayed in the shade. When the chorus came in again, he was out in the sun with them and you can see him sitting at the front of the boat 🥺 Now this is just a theory I came up with. I could be overthinking and that’s on being an INFP.

They released a teaser for the Left & Right MV today and I’m pretty sure that’s where the majority of their comeback budget went by the looks of things. I think it’s hard to follow up a release like 독 but I didn’t dislike this necessarily.
