I think the only way non Asians become idols successfully is if it’s a somi or jessi situation where they’re mixed because I feel it’s a asian genre for everyone to listen to but only for Asians to be if that makes sense

yaaaaas wayv!! there unfortunately isnt a lot of content from them aside from their ig/yizhibo lives since sm is trash at promoting them, but they do have a funny quarantine exercise video on their youtube and their own variety show called dream plan.

You thought Ten was cool & mysterious...he sure had you fooled!! He's a total brat (ESP w/ Kun) & a goofball. But also insanely talented outside of performing as an idol; ex: he hosted a Thai cooking competition show w/ two Thai celebs & two Kpop idols & was constantly switching back & forth between Thai, Korean, & English. 🤩💚 Glad you enjoyed their antics and learning more about them.

kun was introduced about the same time as winwin. hes been with nct since the very beginning but he didn't "officially" debut until nct2018 with black on black. he was part of nct u without you chinese ver in 2016. He promoted with nct 2018 but only was part of those 2 songs in the album. ALSO note that black on black was just like a performance song and he didn't even have lines so likeee I put quotes around officially bc of that

I would love to see a black kpop idol, personally. Like, not just solo but in a group. Also, I remember Kun with NCT in a couple of live streams. I think he cooked with the Dreamies and they kept referring to him as Kun Mom. I remember seeing him be close with Chenle especially. He's been compared to Suho from Exo. He's quite mature so gets called old alot, even by Ten who's close in age. Anyways, I believe he trained with NCT and now that I think of it, it must have been nice for WinWin to have another Chinese member to talk too back then. I often sensed a culture difference between WinWin and Korean members that was a little awkward. Now that he's with the Chinese members he seems way more relaxed. I really don't know much about this, these are just my observations. Anyways, I'm just starting to see Kun and now I can't not see him. Honestly, he's kind of becoming one of my fav Idols and WayV as a group is standing out for me.

If you're looking for more WayV shows and videos to watch, then I'd recommend Rainbow V! It's a project they did and can be found on their YouTube account, and basically they split up into groups and made little performances (cover songs or choreos). The videos of the end results are all really nice as well in my opinion, plus as part of the project they had to think of set design and outfits etc - that seems like your kind of thing, so I thought you'd enjoy watching that. In general it's a cool way to see a bit of the creative process, with some funny moments added in :)

You should watch more Wayv variety content! There's Wayv Dream Launch and their new one Wayvision. You'll get to love Ten, his personality is amazing, so sassy and funny but also really caring, and can basically do everything and anything. You should even watch their old NCT life shows like nct Bangkok or Chiang Mai, Ten is legend.
