I honestly don't see any similarities between TXT and BTS at all. TXT starting off from Crown are having a very different concept and style, their music is almost a different genre to me. BTS is much more hip hop - rnb - pop heavy, while txt is more groovy, indie and even rock (both Run Away and now Can't you see me), smth very magical. In other words, TXT are more light, more youthful, which I really enjoy about their music. Same goes for both attitude and charisma of the group. They are very like kids, fun and young and BigHit, it seems like, is not forcing them to be anything more than what they are. At the same time BTS from very debut were known and felt more aggressive and mature. I respect Bighit for not mashing groups together, for letting them do their own thing and have their own followers.

You're talking genre, but the groups sound are produced in similar ways and in certain aspects the same way. Specifically their vocal training and modification, and engineering. Their SOUND is different but they use the same songwriters and producers so there's also an overlap.
