Thank you so much for your hard work! "Friends" is sung by Taehyung and Jimin because they are singing about their friendship, how they are soulmates and how they want to stay best friends forever! (And i would prefer that every member goes at the same time, and this is my favorite BTS album so far!) A lot of editing on this comment.. :P

Ignore the type of people like this PD most of us know you ain't biased, I'm genuinely thankful that you're doing this video also it's your channel you can drop it whenever you like. Also about friends I don't think it was part of BTS game that's the first time I heard that, it's just a vmin unit since jamais vu has hopejinkook and respect has yoonjoon also it talks about their friendship and their story it's super cute also Jimin co-wrote it and I think (correct me if I'm wrong) composed it

omg your idea of how they might all go together sounds so true. bts work so well with each other that if one is missing, they won’t stop talking about them or it won’t be the same. for example, in the previous bon voyage seasons we had, one member always had to leave for an emergency or one member had to fly in late, the boys would always mention that one member because they miss them so much and they want to experience everything as a whole. i think if all 7 go in, it would be the best thing for them to do. ofc it’d be so quiet without them because they’ve become such a household name but when they come bacKKKK?!!!! THE WORLD WILL FUCKING SHAKE AND THATS ON PERIOD OK LIKE IMAGINE!!!!!

I love this- okay so the song Friends Is how Taehyung and Jimin are soulmates and they are glad they met. Also, ignore all the people that complain about you reacting to BTS, most of us are ok with waiting and are happy to get your insight on these things at your own pace~!! Anywho, I enjoyed this reaction to the album and I would say I agree 100% about the military idea, i BEG they go in at the same time when it comes to it!!

I completely agree with them leaving for service together I understand it is their choice to make as individuals and I am not from South Korean myself but it has never made sense to me why male idol groups enter the military at different times. like you said the company may suffer economically for just under 2 years but most entrainment companies have other groups to promote like Bighit does. Additionally I think BTS probably have or could make some content that would keep a large majority of fans engaged for the years they are gone, the only market I could see being seriously effected is the USA media might dip their interest in the boys. One example of the content they could offer is the BTS game (not BTS world) that they realised a short trailer for. Which many think will encompass most (if not all) the BTS story line( gives me Life is strange vibes). If the boys finish their service (and want to continue) I think it would be a great opportunity too start a new story line or maybe more so an epilogue to the current story away from youth and now more so adulthood. Love your videos!! <3

You said absolutely everything I wanted to day!!! Your take on "The Eternal" and what you said afterwards are exactly my thoughts and how I view everything! It's the perfect last pre-military album. Because of the covid, though, BTS are working on a new project, their new album – Namjoon and Yoongi told us through their lives. I still think it would leave an impact at the end of their final concert, like you said! :)

this is such a painful and shitty thing to think about, but I agree with you about enlistment. I would much rather have them all back together in 2 years, then to go 7-ish years with them being incomplete. It sucks either way, but bighit is in a really special position. they could keep making money of unreleased stuff and games while they are in the army. And they also have txt and maybe a girlgroup (coming soon??).. they also just bought source music and pledis. as painful as it would be to go two years without bts, it would be way worse to go seven years missing at least one..

that's crazy but we have the exact same top 5! My favorite is Moon if I have to choose a number one (it just hits me differently, I really love this song so much), then WAB: The Eternal, My Time, Zero O'clock and Ugh. But tbh I also have a soft spot for Inner Child and Louder than Bombs... (may as well name all the songs lmao) Thank you for your interesting thoughts! (P.-S: Friends is not a part of the BTS World. It's co-produced and co-written by Jimin. He composes beautiful melodies.)

my fav albums will always be hyyh pt1 and pt2, especially pt2, but mots:7 one of the best albums i heard in past few years and obviously one of their best albums for me

in my opinion, i would have rather bts leave together as a unit then have a missing member. especially since bts have promoted so extensively the idea that there is no bts without all 7 and that without one member everything feels wrong, i can’t possibly see them continuing without all of them. it would feel really weird to us and also really weird to THEM. so i would wait those1.5-2 years for them to come back together and honestly i would prefer that

I'd rather BTS be gone for 2 years too, but at the same time I really didn't think BigHit was gonna do it because financially they don't have anything else to rely on besides TXT and Source Music aka GFriend. But seeing how BTS announced they're writing a new album (seeing how the tour was pretty much cancelled/delayed (?)) where they'll have 100% full creative power in making, if they're gonna leave together next year then BigHit can release this as well as quite a few solo member mixtapes that we were promised through the 2 years BTS would be gone. So basically we wouldn't even feel they were gone in the first place. And BigHit is also making a new girl group with Source music and is organising a survival show with Mnet for a new boy group. So...they're gonna be busy and SO sending BTS all together to the military sounds VERY plausible right now to me.

honestly, i feel like a lot of people got the same kind of feeling. this comeback as a whole was very different from any other, and there is a feeling that somehow this is a farewell. suga also said very recently that they are working on new music, but it could be very possible that this release would be something they have ready for the period they'll be absent. we could be very wrong, but it would make sense.

also “friends (hoseok theme)” from bts world has nothing to do with this “friends.” this song is about the relationship between jimin and v over the years, so it had nothing to do with j-hope

RM & Suga have actually announced that they’re working on another album and we’re gunna get teasers soon, but I do agree that things feel weird. Like a goodbye. I think that they will go in together but it would be for the best. Btw, this album is in my top 3 with hyyh 1 & Ly Tear. THANK YOU for the genuine reaction and honest feedback!!! Hey, "Friends" has nothing to do with BTS World, what you heard/read is wrong. It's a Jimin & V unit song, about their special friendship, produced and written by Jimin, part of this 7 album, There are 3 unit songs in this album: Jin/J-hope/Jungkook --> Jamais Vu Jimin/Taehyung --> Friends RM/Suga --> Respect

It's a very difficult thing to think about, but I think most people theorise that they will be enlisting together, and perhaps this album is hinting towards that. They're bound to be successful and loved as soloists/units, but we all love them as a whole, as you said. Each member is a very special puzzle piece to a beautiful picture. I know others have commented regarding this but Friends was co-written and co-produced by Jimin and is about his and Taehyung's friendship. It's Jimin's first producing credit, so we're very proud of him! Moon is criminally underrated. I'm much like you, I prefer synthy dark, sad songs such as Louder than Bombs to bright boppy songs any day but I LOVE moon. Jin sounds really amazing, and it gives me 50s surfy music vibes. We are bulletproof: the eternal makes me cry every time now. The harmonies are beautiful, the beat delays, the lyrics, the timbre especially great... probably my favourite on the album too.

thank you for posting this for free, I'm sure it made a lot of peoples day better (including mine). my favorite part of this reaction was when you talked about we are bulletproof the eternal and bts going into the military together. it made me very emotional but I completely agree with what you said. anyway, thank you for always making amazing content for us!

PD I completely agree BTS going to the military together would be the right move. One of the reasons so many wanted to see them this tour was the thought that if only Jin goes (signaling separate enlistments) then it could be up to 5-6 years before BTS was whole again. Last opportunity to see the entire group for years, if ever. Enlisting together also keeps them under their current 7 year contract when they come out. Members recently indicated another album upcoming. I suspect that this was always in the works and would have been released after a group enlistment. Also members hinted they are finishing or working on solo projects which could drop while enlisted. Covid gives BTS a unique position to enlist and not worry about missing tour opportunities, no one is touring. They could spend the next few months building up a battery of content to release in their hiatus. Depending on restrictions think they might still have a few shows in Seoul and then off they go.

Young Forever and Love Yourself: Tear were always my favorite albums, but Map of the Soul: 7 completely took the cake and it's my absolute favorite! These songs felt so personal and really hit me personally, I cried a lot listening to most of these songs, they give me so much joy. I honestly prefer if they went to the military altogether and come back together, it'll feel to weird if one member was missing. I think this was their point to probably have only this album for the year and the tour, of course now because of the virus the tour most likely isn't happening, so I think that's why they decided to make another album for the year or maybe for next year when they're gone.

I think they're absolutely going to enlist together. I also think they're going to release another album before they go, because a year is a long time for those guys to do nothing, they're so restless. they've also been talking recently about releasing new material (idk if this means solo stuff or another album/ep though), which makes me excited! I'd love for bighit to release the reins on them a little bit and really let them do their own thing with whatever they've got planned for the rest of the year, ESPECIALLY if it's gonna be the whole group, but who knows if we'll get that lucky 🙄

This is definitely my favorite BTS album because of how personal it is. I also cried while listening to the album, especially with Interlude: Shadow, Louder than bombs, 00:00, and Bulletproof: Eternal. UGH! is such a banger too! I think they might enlist together as a group as you said. They are apparently already starting on preparations for the next album too (Yoongi mentioned it on a live stream recently), so I think it might come out before they all enlist or maybe even after? Not sure.

Thanks for allowing us to watch this on Patreon PD! I'm glad you enjoyed the new music so much, and I totally agree with that. This album is tied at the top for me with Tear. I have always loved how BTS never shy away from experimenting and pushing their boundaries with their music, and this album is no exception. As far as military enlistment goes, I've always been of the opinion for them to all enlist together. I have no doubt that sub-units and solo albums would be incredibly successful, but they guys ultimate strength has been them as a group. Each one brings something very specific and special to the table, and even with just one missing, it wouldn't be the same. It would be a huge statement for them to enter service together, and come back together.

I agree with you I prefer them enlisting all at once. A year and a half will go by so fast. They can just prepare content during that hiatus to keep the fans from getting bored waiting. If they're not doing it all together, I at least want them to be separated in two groups instead of one by one or by pairs. Thank you listening to this :)

BigHit has plenty of money already so I don't think they have to worry about the enlistment financially. TXT and GFriend are successful and people will still be buying plenty of BTS merchandise even when they enlist

BTS have 2 songs with the name "Friends", one is Hoseok theme song in BTS world and the second one is Vmin song. They are two differents songs xD

I love the album, it is sooo much better than last year's mini album (even tho I loved Dionysus). Favorite songs are My Time, Louder than bombs, Ugh, Zero O'clock, The Eternal (and of course Black Swan and ON). I am on the same page with you when it comes to their military enlistment, I'd rather survive for 2 years without them than maybe never see a full team comeback ever again. I am especially bitter since I was going to go to their Paris concert last summer but didn't make it because of a delayed flight... and I was hoping to maybe have another chance to see them this year and now this bullcrap happened with the virus situation (pardon me but I am mad).... Thank you for the reaction, it was a great time.

On what you said about them releasing albums with certain members missing if they went to the military one at a time, I don't think that would happen. I think BTS over the years have made it extremely clear that if they were going to promote under the name "BTS", then all seven members would have to be present on the album. To add though, I also think it's highly unlikely that they would go into the military one at a time, at most, I can see them going in as units, most of their birthdays are pretty close with at least one other member. The only problem in that case would be jungkook since he's so much younger than the others. In my opinion though, I would definitely prefer them all to head into the military together and exit together. That gives us the least hiatus time, as well as makes a pretty poetic statement.

i would rather them be gone for almost 2 years, and go as a whole. it would be a powerrful statement, specially because they always say BTS is made of seven members and you cant have BTS without one of them. So it makes sense. I hope thats how it goes, although it might be hard, it would be worth it
