Love BiSH! I was also initially confused by the mixing of this song—I grew into it because I like the ear-shredding vibes but I do wish it had been mixed/mastered differently. Hope you enjoy their other stuff!

yEs the mixing is very odd- i definitely noticed it in certain spots, but it never stops me from getting turnt to it . i’ll compile more alt-idol artists and releases i think you’ll like !!! thank you so much for taking my suggestion :,)))

These days I'm realising more and more that jpop has a lot of cool artists to offer and I should look more into it. I'd never heard of this group and this song is awesome! I agree about the sound quality being kinda crap. The volume maxing out is just sad. I'm also feeling conflicted about the girl with glasses. I saw that first glimpse of the glasses in the MV and loved it instantly because you never see idols wearing glasses! And I love it! But I'm worried that maybe she's not a very strong singer. Her high note in the MV was so soft you could barely hear it, and in the live show I seems like she was faking out of it. And afterward her voice seemed pretty unstable. I really want her to be good though cause I wanna like glasses girl. So I guess I'll have to look at more of their music.

hello ! your bish overlord here and an atsuko-oshi (in kpop terms, atsuko is my bias) ! atsuko is the girl in the glasses, her part in this song is written that soft purposely, but i think it was written a bit too high for her register ??imo i can here her voice perfectly clear in the mv and the studio recording (i think its supposed to have a more ethereal , otherworldly vibe- not like a belt out long note, so it kinda blends into the background more) but its a difficult sorta echo-y kinda sound to make live . im also guessing they were dead tired as this song was performed in the tail end of their show haha. in a lot of their other songs, her parts are written more-so in her register and i for one really like her voice ! she is also a sweetheart so i hope that you support her ! these girls are amazing -they sing about hardships, mental health, failure, and being strong as they themselves have gone through some tough hardships. their discography is incredible as well ! i really can’t recommend them enough 💕 non tie up , as incredible as it is- has its hiccups for sure ! :,)

I absolutely love BiSH. I first saw them at Summer Sonic last year and I was hooked. Glad you reacted to them. If you like them, you should check Band-Maid as well. They are an all-girl Rock Fusion band from Japan. If you do, check out Domination (Live) from them. It was released this past February.
