The suit dance is really good for seeing the choreography.

Shuhua didn't get any center but she didn't stand in the back of the choreo either. That's a plus at least.

After four days of listening to I Trust I am finding that "Oh my god" isn't clicking with me like "Uh Oh" or "Lion" did. I like the song, I *respect* the song and think Soyeon and Sancho did a great job as usual in creating it (except for the line distribution issues that PD points out). But I don't LOVE the song. And that's OK - not every song is going to be an instant earworm, for anyone. "Oh my god" is another great Idle comeback that just hasn't pushed my buttons the way I hoped.

I also really love this song! Loved it from the first listen and I think it's a really good accompaniment to Lion. (from watching reacttothek's video I see the segment of the song that's really similar to Lion but overall I do think they're quite different) It's true about the line distribution... Even in the debut song Shuhua only got to sing "latata" and nothing else. Though I think that it was worse for Loona So what with Vivi basically getting no lines at all. Of course that's no excuse so I hope all the members will get to shine in performances and future songs, I liked g-idle since debut but I've been really getting into them after Lion and I was looking forward to going to their concert so much! After blackpink and dreamcatcher they're the first girlgroup to tour in Europe and as a girlgroup stan I desperately need more groups to come here, so I hope it'll still happen once the pandemic subsides and that it'll be successful and an example for others (please izone, we need you here! >.<)

Line distribution might be unfair, but I think this is the only time Soyeon really gets her moment. If you think about it, who's the most popular member of the group. Yuqi first then probably Soyeon. Who do you think of when it comes to Variety Shows, Yuqi or Shuhua. Who gets the most views for fancams, Shuhua and Soojin. Soyeon is 3rd and sometimes 4th. She doesnt even show up in many of the I-talks or VLives. The rest of the members are the main source of content and I think the girls are okay with the distribution.

hey thats me <3 even tho im fairly certain im not the first one to post it, im just posting it cuz pd sayed he didnt get much recommendations for lion so i took it apon myself to fix that with this comeback by posting everything they do :)

This is probably a controversial statement but I hope fairness never becomes the leading motivation behind line distribution. It should be about what sounds best. Yuqi’s high range with her deep voice is often used in their pre-choruses to give urgency and momentum before the chorus. I honestly don’t know if she can do falsetto. I think each member’s voice fits the story of the part they sing. Also Yuqi said in a recent interview that they all chose the line distribution together. Oh My God distribution to me seems average. Dun Dun and So What seems much less balance(No hate. I love Loona and Everglow). Lion was about as balanced as it gets. Shuhua has always had less lines per HER OWN REQUEST.

Joonka

Very good points. In the end it’s about even exposure, not who sang most and least

Joonka

Completely agree. Come wait for the world tour. As for Shuhua, as I commented below, she requested less lines because of her language. Tbh, I don’t know how much she is improving even after almost 2 years. I still see her struggle in interviews and sometimes even read her answers of a paper.

Line distribution issue is so overblown... People just look at seconds and complain... There's more to lines than simply seconds. I can agree that Shuhua not being noticed until her bridge feels a bit bad, but she has an entire bridge for herself. As for Miyeon and Yuqi, they have what for me is the best part of the song and has great impact, the pre-chorus.
