I haven't watched it yet so idk if you say it but Sunmi made the song with the intent of it being a regular release but her company said the image was too strong, so the fact that she go to use it as an ost and have videos and such for it is just so cool. She's calling the content gifts to us but really I think it's a gift to her that one way or another she got to show another side of her that she wanted to. I do understand from the companies pov why they didn't want this to be like a title track, but Sunmi is more interested in making the music she wants to and less in appeasing the general public's vision of her anymore so I hope in the future she can show her darker/stronger sides more and not just versions of it that are still wrapped up neatly with a pretty bow. I know there's a balance that has to be maintained for pop and mainstream music, but it's not so bad to veer from that path every now and then. I mean, she left JYP to have more control to show her own colors(cough Got7 please leave so JYP can stop saying page and come on aren't your colors thank you) so I hope she can continue to show the colors she really wants to show.

I really liked the song! It's not a masterpiece or anything, but the energy is nice and the hook is surprisingly catchy (gotta gotta gotta go *wha whawha whawha whawha*). I didn't love it the first time I heard it, but by the second or third I was sold.

I watched the web drama and the song is perfect for it because it's the story of a bartender who stopped dating because her ex slept with her ex-bestfriend and now she has to work with both of them. It's her letting go of her grudge and the song convey that even without lyrics
