Since Blackpink did not perform on any award shows in 2019 unfortunately. And if you haven’t already seen it I would really appreciate if you could check out their live performance of solo,ddududdu and forever young at the SBS Gayodaejun in 2018.

During the pre-roll video before "Lion" on the final episode of Queendom, we got to see some of Soyeon's PowerPoint presentation of the concepts for "Lion". ("THIS GIRL, MAN!" PD said, stretching back in the chair. "She thinks like an A&R!") The first was the royal procession, thrones and noble costuming - developed for the Queendom performance, the second was the caged lion, still dangerous - which became the MV. During the meeting Miyeon suggested lions in the desert, which Soyeon developed into an Egyptian/Cleopatra theme for Golden Disc Award stage. Soyeon supervised all three concepts, and although I don't know the seed for the red & black MBC stage, I don't doubt she had her hands all over that as well. "THIS GIRL, MAN!" is right. Her talent is limitless and she is just getting warmed up…

Thank you for reacting to these performances PD ahaha and I can totally say the same with their music it's what I love about them whenever the comeback you know for sure it'll be different and I'm just excited for the next one ahahaha

I don't know if anyone already asked you this ,but recently ,BTS dropped their comeback trailer song and a dance video from one track of their new album ,if you can see them .These tracks are Shadow and Black Swan ,both of them have deep meanings (at least me ,as a non-ARMY ,i found some deep thoughts ) and great songs .

The MBC outfits look very Targaryen-like (Game of Thrones) imo. The red and black color scheme, the dragon pattern... I'm not sure if GoT has been huge in Korea but the likeness immediately struck me.

I think one BIG reason Minnie (and Yuqi and now Shuhua) have such good line distribution is that Soyeon (and Minnie) write all the songs. We know Soyeon has very specific ideas about what parts should go to which member while she's creating the track, and clearly no one makes her give out lines a certain way to fit some audience profile. Plus, these members are not Korean, Thai, Chinese, Taiwanese - they're (G)I-DLE. Soyeon's closest friends. Of course they're going to get the lines she wants them to have…

Yay, I'm so glad you uploaded those master lists. I never knew you reacted to these (G)I-DLE stages which I loved loved LOVED. All three were incredible performances. I feel like 2019 was also their year. They haven't been quite so prolific this year even though I am hoping for some Oh my god award show stages
