Not taking a break (Patreon)

What happened with Woojin yesterday is awful news and I wanted to take a break but I realized 2019 is just an awful year of unfortunate events in KPOP. And if I take off time for every terrible event...well I’d never work.

So I’m going to keep filming and editing today so we can finish Drama Club and Queendom this week and watch new stuff like Monsta X and Taeyeon for you guys. Not because I don’t respect Woojin but because this has made me realize how much I appreciate that you guys stick around.

For real... Woojin leaves SK, Jaden Jeong leaving BBC and deleting La Maison / B#RN, and Sulli’s passing... I only follow so many groups but the fact that even half of them are going through hell this year is so cursed and awful :< I’m glad you’re powering through it, PD ^^’

I never fault anyone for taking the time they need but I'm also excited for your content to come back. I know it must be difficult to balance running this channel but also pursuing your films and art. I'm a Props and Set Dresser so I understand the time commitment to working on films, even short ones. So big props to you for juggling it all!

I don't see how someone leaving a group (seemingly) on their own accord is unfortunate. That's just something that happens sometimes, and we should be happy for the person in question. Also, I think we in general need to be more focused on the positive. So much good stuff has happened this year. Instead of just dwelling in our own pain and misery, let's try to see the good things and let that fill us with positive energy. At least from time to time.

This year has been so bad, like we've had a lot of great moments but the bad ones are outweighing the positives... Woojin leaving SKZ, Hwall leaving The Boyz and now Wonho leaving MONSTA X and SULLI passing away... This year is a mess and we can only hope next year is full of positives for everyone. You know your own limits, don't push them just to satisfy us. Work at your own pace and take care, we'll always be here for you PD :)
