The recording was wiggity wiggity wack on this one. Around the 35 minute mark it just STOPPED recording the audio from Queendom. So you'll hear me, you'll see the Queendom video but no Queendom audio from 35min and onward. NOW, I've provided a fix for that. I'm providing a second link just for an audio file. The audio file is the SAME length as the video but with the Queendom audio added in the moment it stops in my reaction. So play BOTH the video file and audio file at the same time and you'll never know something is wrong. So the first 35min of the audio file should sound like nothing.

Now why did I not just edit the audio files in? I did. But because the video is roughly two hours long, the video was coming out to nearly 200GB+ and my computer wouldn't even START to render it lmao. And I tried lowering the resolution to 720p and that was still 50GB.

So just match up the timecodes on the video and audio file and you should be good! Sorry about the inconvenience. No idea what the heck caused it but it seems fine now.

I definitely agree with your analysis about where people will be ranked, more or less- Oh My Girl and AOA's performances were captivating, while everyone else fell back either on their own sound or on the sound of what they were covering, possibly with the exception of Park Bom but thats just because I honestly like her version of Hann more than the original. I think my personal ranking would go something like... Oh My Girl--> AOA--> Park Bom/Mamamoo (they're interchangeable for me)--> Lovelyz--> (G)IDLE. For your questions about Wheein, I'm not entirely certain what exactly is going on but I do know that she has been more or less pulled out of all activities for the last while (at least since before KCON LA) due to health reasons - something proper moomoos would probably know more about than I. She did have that single comeback and she has been making it to some things like the second Queendom Performance, but otherwise she's definitely been MIA. I don't know exactly when the second performance took place, other than that it probably happened about 3 weeks after Oh My Girl's Bungee Comeback because YooA sprained her ankle during promotions, but she's almost completely healed by this episode. That would definitely put it pretty well into when Wheein was/is still on break. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what they come up with for the Units! Its not often we get to see members from girl groups collabing with one another~

I know that Wheein was dealing with a lot of anxiety and stress issues and that’s why she wasn’t at kcon la, which might be why she’s not shown in queendom a lot. Also, Wheein’s also mentioned to have had problems with depression in the past so that might have contributed to her anxiety and stress.

the problem with Idles performance is that it was too safe, it felt like a weekly music show performance and not something to win a competition. Soyeon respected the original song too much, she didnt even rewrite the rap part, which goes completely against her pride as a rapper.

I felt pretty similarly about the rankings for the most part. Mine is probably: OMG > AOA > Bom > (G)I-dle > Lovelyz > Mamamoo. This was weird for me since I am watching this show for Mamamoo and Idle since they are both in my top 3 groups in kpop, but Mamamoo's Good Luck is the only performance on Queendom that I have actually disliked and you put it perfectly by saying that Idle just did a cover (I think they probably didn't want to mess with the song too much). Also, it was definitely a bit of a rough week for the performers since YooA, Chanmi and Solar all had injured feet and Wheein was sick (I think).

as an (G)I-dle stan this was honestly a performance i prefer to forget. I actually got my friend into kpop through gidle but i feel like hiding it from him. It just wasnt up to their level and i think its because Soyeon didnt feel like she had the right to change the song because it was 2NE1. Her songwriting and directing is her talent and she should use to do more than just improve on an old song with an old outdated style. I even felt lovelyz did better and i havent gotten into them at all yet nor BEG. AOA was so striking and it is something i would show to every single progressive minded person i know. It was so powerful. It made me cry almost as much as oh my girl. That was, as all have said, exactly what they needed to show. Mamamoo was good but forgettable, i hope they come back in full strength. Park Bom was interesting but I think im just overly bias to the original because it is my favorite from gidle. This show is amazing though. The thing i want the most is for all groups to remain at the end, im actully hoping gidle gets sixth this time because im confident they will not get it more than once and to hopefully keep lovelyz in it. I fully believe (G)I-dle will bounce back with another win as long as Soyeon takes charge using her own style.

About Wheein. She's been dealing with anxiety/depression for parts of her career. After the anxiety got worse recently due to stress she went on hiatus for a little over a month. She came back recently and is looking much happier (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7TMLCnNQqw this was filmed during the last few days before she returned), I think the break did her some good. As a sidenote she also got a new tattoo, which means she's up to 7(!) total now.

I agree with most of PD's opinions about the performances. AOA/OMG for me were also the clear winners of this round with the best performances. I was spoiled weeks before that Lovelyz would be doing Sixth Sense and I was rooting for them to nail it but...yeah, it wasn't 6th place bad but it was not anything special either. Instead of showing their strengths they made their weaknesses more apparent because it was clear the concept didn't fit all members. And conspiracy theory time: I still think that the choices for Lovelyz's quest were rigged by Mnet so they could do their typical "storyline" with them getting the chance to do another concept so all the options on the papers were for them to choose any song since only Lovelyz clearly from the interviews were the most bothered with doing a similar concept to their own. If Mnet truly wanted to keep the theme of the round that option shouldn't even be there in the first place, but well what can we do? Anyway....yeah Lovelyz's song choice wasn't good because they only thought "we want to do girl crush" and chose a song that checked that box. And that was why the song was just a cover...they thought doing a different concept from theirs was enough they really didn't think about the performance overall i think. I'm not against Lovelyz trying other concepts be it girl crush or more mature or whatever since I don't like groups, specially girl groups with more pure or innocent concepts, being told that need to stay forever in ther concepts while other groups get to experiment more, but they need to think better what their strenghts are (like their harmonizations and syncronization) and use it more in whatever concept they choose to do. Oh and the girl from Lovelyz that mentioned that Oh My Girl's Remember me is very emotional was Yein...she's Lovelyz's maknae

I know Queendom hasn't ended yet, but I really hope they have multiple seasons of this show. it's such a cool concept, and seeing these girl groups come together and compete is so cool, I would love to see other girl groups face each other, and eventually an Allstars season where they bring back all the winners for an ultimate showdown.

I would have picked Lonely or Ugly for Idle. Maybe an AOA-Black Song for Mamamoo. That would have been a lot more interesting! Those 2 were my least favorite Performances of this Round. I put AOA & OMG in first Place. Then Park Bom because she really surprised me with her Version and I love it even if the Performance isn't 100% and then Lovelyz because their performance was good and something new for them but it didn't fit all the Members and made some of the girls stand out in a negative way.

I'm DYING to know the results in episode 5. As said in this episode, Lovelyz just did a complete opposite concept that didn't go hand in hand with their usual charms and special style (Oh My Girl is an example of a group who executed this really well). They missed the point of doing something different but also not losing their speciality, if that makes sense?

You didn't like AOA? (Oh My Girl) was awesome and so was Lovelyz. unit groups & dance performance was the best. And all of Queendom's last performance ep. 9 Awesome! So? why did you not like the show?

I know why the video won't play it's the laptop I'm using, I can watch the video from my phone it works there. Thank you for giving us the reaction. you said you could find Korean food in Las Vagas? I did at least I thought It was Korean?

You can use avidemux (it's free), you need a Video File and the Audio File, You can replace the Audio of the Video File if needed so you can just use the Video with the Error in the Audio. Open the Video File, then choose the Audio Option, from the drop down choose "Select Track". There should be either 1 Track if the Video has Audio or none depending in the Video File. Track 1 should be enabled, this will allow you to click on the Track 0..... box. Do so and click on the Option .... Add Audio Track, from there locate your Audio Track, which should be in an Audio format (not mp4) Once you have done that, look for the Output Format which you can change to MP4 Muxer (or any format you want) The Video Output should be Copy The Audio Output should be Copy Now you just need to do is to Save the File. There is no Compression involved so it shouldn't take long

I feel like Lovelyz should have covered a boy group song. I can picture them doing "Call Me Baby" by EXO, a mixture of cute and flirtatious and just a little sexy. I think it would have set them apart and also won a lot of fans to cover a boy group song. I know they wanted to do sexy but if they had done a boy band song, they wouldn't be directly compared to the original the way they would if they cover a girl group song. I think they also could totally pull off "Call Me Baby." I'm not sure they QUITE pulled off Sixth Sense :( as much as I like them and as much as I know they really, really wanted to do it.

obviously this is a late response to the reaction. to me, (g)-idle lost some respect in that this wasn't the first time they appropriated different cultures. I know fans will try to rationalize it by saying it's appreciation but what these fans often fail to realize is privilege plays a big role. how is it fair for certain artists who look a certain way to achieve success off of a certain culture over native artists who are looked over despite belonging to said culture. I'm surprised also how Hwasa was overlooked for wearing a durag. this isn't to instigate hate or for people to claim that we're too pc/sensitive. but imagine being a fan and seeing your culture utilized for personal gain but not properly credited. Africa isn't a whole homogenous country. it's a continent made up of a diaspora of unique nations, each with their own flair and color. we should be more aware of how cultures are utilized and whether or not they're being properly credited and respected within art.
