Cheetah actually competed against AOA's Jimin in unpretty rapstar 1 and they even had a diss battle. Cheetah was also a mentor on produce 101 which is why Soyeon was calling out "my teacher!"

Yeah I think Cheetah was probably a really special feature for Soyeon, especially because Soyeon had said in Produce 101 that it's her dream to perform on stage with Cheetah. I think Mnet's really manipulative editing to heavily imply it was going to be a 2NE1 member made it disappointing for the viewers no matter what, which I feel is a pretty big disservice to Bom's performance.

Personally I loved Mamamoo and AOA stages from this episode, my favorite is Mamamoo's for how playful it is, but now that you've mentioned, AOAs rendition, you can listen the song as it is, I wasn't a big fan of Egotistic latin vibe, but this version was so good and I would definitely listen to it, I believe they deserve the top spots 👍

As much as I absolutely love Mamamoo, and I still think my gurl Wheein killed her section -- AOA were the clear winners. They picked the perfect MMM song and created a killer stage. Good Luck was just too disjointed and the different sections didn't come together very well. And honestly, Good Luck sounds too much like a MMM-esque song already. I kinda wish they took one of the songs they rejected and *MADE* it work for them. I think that would have been interesting!

Honestly I think AOA is stronger then people are giving them credit for. I know some of that has to do with them not being currently active and they faced a lot of drama in the past but as performers out of these 2 showings they’ve been imo the most consistent from the start. I would love for this new attention to be the start of a new comeback I think AOA are proving they are strong and even now at 5 members they have not lost their quality.

AOA has been incredible! They were never one of the groups I followed super closely, but I'm glad that they're able to bounce back just as strong from all the drama and with Mina and Choa leaving I gotta agree about the Cheetah feature, but one and done rap features in songs always leave a bad taste for me. It's always the same. They walk in for their verse, do their thing, then disappear for the rest of the stage. But man, imagine being Soyeon; having Park Bom, a KPOP legend that she looks up to, and Cheetah, one of her mentors, covering a song that she wrote and produced. She's living the fangirl dream

If you listen to single release from the show, you realize that Jimin's "Puss" section that Solar does was add solely for the live show. My brain was just screamin' "Shots fired! Shots fired!"

Hi PD! The amazing dance move toward the end of AOA's performance, the one you rewound to watch again, is a staple of drag performance and is known as a shablam or a death drop. The dancers were all, I believe, drag performers, and their dance was heavily influenced by vogue. You can also see someone duck walking at some point, and the posing and exaggerated movements were all from vogue. (Vogue is a real dance style, not just a Madonna song.) I think AOA was going for a gender swap vibe, with them finding power and strength as women dressing masculine, and then the men* found power and strength dressing as women. (*I don't know for sure how the dancers identify, but I'm pretty sure how the audience would have perceived them, and that's what AOA was playing with.) Anyway, it was so damn cool.
