I didn't have as big of an issue with this MV, but that's because I always set my bar much lower for K-pop groups' JPN releases. I expect a lower budget, less sets, somewhat wacky lighting, etc. I think they did some interesting things with this one, with that lower bar in mind. I loved the scene where it had a stormy background and two members were reaching out to each other (can't remember who right now). I liked the strings of fate, was also a cool callback to You And I.

Plus, that way when I'm blown away, like with Breakthrough, it's even more awesome. Idk, this won't be making it into my top 10 by them or anything, but it's fine. They have a Korean comeback VERY soon, this clearly wasn't at the top of their priorities. The did manage to stay consistent on giving Handong no lines tho hahaha *cries internally*

This actually quickly rose to one of my favourite dreamcatcher songs🤷🏼‍♀️ Also, their Korean comeback is on the 19th this month so pleeeease react to it❤️

Also find it hilarious that PD doesn't know her name, but consistently is blown away by Jiu's beauty. Because same.

I don't know about the video production, but the team behind the song is actually the same team behind a lot of Dreamcatcher's other songs like Piri and You and I, LEEZ and Ollounder

I actually enjoyed the song. I liked the contrast between the pop verses and rock chorus. But I do agree entirely on the video. I liked the concept of the red strings, especially since I think that other than what you mentioned, they also represent a spiders web since their whole nightmare plotline started with Yoohyeon killing a spider in Fly High, but ultimately they never did anything interesting with the strings.

I liked the song, but I do agree with you, I was also expecting them to go much harder with the sound and the video. btw, ur hair looks so nice pd!!!

I was a little bit disappointed in this as a huge Dreamcatcher fan, to be honest. I think it was mostly the music video that was severely lacking for me - it was like they'd downgraded after really interesting videos like Piri, What, etc. Thankfully, Deja Vu is absolutely incredible! Can't wait to hear what you think of that one~
