Back after our hiatus! So I went a bit insane and watched FOUR episodes in bulk. I really value your guys' patronage so I'm kinda hoping to upload Drama Club at least 2-3 times a week without missing a week by filming in bulk!

This new format makes it easier for me to film but I need YOUR feedback. Please answer these questions in the comments on this post!

-Do you like this new format? Is my camera box being smaller OK and more convenient? I'm hoping my camera box being smaller makes it easier for you guys to watch the actual episode and easier to read subtitles.

-Do you want me to keep this format for other Patreon content? Japanese reactions, live stages, variety shows?

-Are you OK with me stopping the episode occasionally to explain some stuff or add commentary?

Please let me know your feedback. After about a week I'm going to then announce a SCHEDULE for our Patreon uploads. This will guarantee that EVERYDAY will have SOME type of exclusive content (if you guys like this new format).

*Note: Also I think there's a delay in my camera and the mic audio. It'll be fixed for future videos. Luckily it's not too much of a delay so it's not crazy apparent and the drama audio is at least in sync.

I like the format! Idk why but drama club feels like a segment that doesn't need a fancy set or editing cuz we're just chill watching together. and i don't mind you pausing. i'd rather you pause to get your thoughts out than wait to then end and forgetting what you were gonna say lol

I like the new format! I love when you stop and comment of things like the cinematography and tidbits of Korean culture that the international fans might not pick up while watching it.

I like the format! As long as I can still see your facial reactions, I'm good! 👍I like the pausing for longer commentary actually - you can fully explain your thoughts out without missing any of the action(that goes for variety shows also)

I like the format!

I think the new format's great! You're still very visible, at least, I normally watch this on a laptop and not a phone so deffo big enough. I noticed that you got the positive/negative traits thing mixed up, he was having difficulty condensing the positive traits to just 3, not negative. Also, this video explains that Gugudan comeback post. xD Gyuri and Chuu are so adorable though. Gyuri's offer to stand guard and Chuu getting her cheeks squished. ^_^

I really like the format! Gives us more insight on cultural things and I like that you pause for long parts so you don't forget. Plus it's better that way since we immediately know which part you're referring to and we don't have to go back and rewatch a scene if we don't remember it if you do the comments at the end. You're like the translator's note on subtitled vids. I at least don't mind it since we tend to pause to read the notes. Also thank you for translating the parts that for some reason didn't have subs.

i like this format and u pausing to comment on certain things a lot more as well it makes it easier to keep up nd like u said watching a drama theres rly no need for u to go all out with ur set in the end im here for u and ur thoughts not the look or aesthetic of everything thats what ur mv reactions are for also what i find rly interesting is the formal to informal language difference u mentioned im from germany and we do the same thing

PD thank you for the content! Yes this format is perfect if it’s easier on you and will allow you to put out more stuff, then I think it’s 100% a good idea to stick with it. You pausing and talking about stuff is great. It adds your thoughts and knowledge to the video that I wouldn’t get otherwise so I’m happy that you do it. I can’t wait to see all the new content you put out if you continue this format!

I really appreciated you stopping to add context that you wouldn't get without knowing the language. I like the overall format you did this time so i vote to stick with it

new format is great is comfortable to watch and pausing to comment is great cause that way you don't forget what you wanted to say plus explaining some things we wouldn't otherwise know is really nice too.

^ as this is a streaming setup, it feels like a stream. Its relaxed which fits better but you still keep the informational aspect like your more produced content. Its a good mix and it was enjoyable to watch, even though I've already completed the series myself, because of your insights into Korean culture and also your normal comments. It feels more like we are really all watching it together compared to the other format. I wish this sort of stuff could be streamed on twitch for the chat interaction.

I like the new format, although I watch on my phone so your screen is a little small but I can still see your reactions. I usually don't like pausing when watching YouTube reactions, but that's because they usually don't add to the video and it's just a way to evade copyright. I like when you pause to comment on the video because it adds context to the scenes that I would have missed not knowing Korean. I'd also rather you pause and remember what you were going to say then wait until after and forget, plus we're on Patreon so we wanna hear what you have to say.
