Seeing you cry made me cry at the MV again :(( it's such a good music video and message. Btw I think your editing software may have glitched because there's 30mins of black screen after the reaction.

thank you so much for reacting to keyakizaka46 pd! I'm happy the song and mv moved you the way it did :) I'll be patiently waiting for you to react to some of their other songs in the future haha!

Im so happy you reacted to this and loved it so much, Keyakizaka is one of my favourite groups. The androgynous girl who is the main character of the MV is Hirate Yurina, who is the center of keyakizaka46. She is well known for her stage prescence, intense eyes and emotional performances, one of my absolute favourite idols in either kpop or jpop. I'd highly recommend checking out the group Perfume, Either Tokyo Girl, Pick me Up or Mugen Mirai are good places to start. They are an electro pop female trio who has been active for almost 20 years, and are basically japans treasure. Amazing performers with amazing mvs, dances etc

Kaye HN

Id also highly recommend doing a watch/listening party of keyakizaka46 from first single to kuroi hitsuji, these girls have a ton of talent and all of their songs are powerful and unique in different ways

OK LAST RECCOMENDATION FOR NOW I PROMISE. I'm just a jpop fan of 8 years so i have a lot to suggest. Check out Bokutachi Wa Tatakawanai by AKB48. If nothing else Sakura from Izone is in it, but also its just a beautiful song and music video

This was so great! I love the poignancy of the mv and song. Can’t wait to see what’s next! If you’re looking for recommendations, NON-TiE-UP by BiSH is really fierce and dramatic. For creativity, BAND-MAID does awesome April fools “Band-Maiko” releases, both “secret MAIKO lips” and “Gion-cho”

Such a powerful video! I cried. Paused it to find tissues. Cried more. Wow. Like you said, the hugs are so intense. I really wanted it to end with someone, anyone, holding onto her as hard as she was trying to hold on to others.

Daniela Hawkins

I totally agree with your statement on how jpop portrays sadness in both mv's and in the songs! One song from my favorite Japanese solo artist makes me cry every time I listen to it!

Mai B

This song is so moving, I'm glad you checked it out, I still can't watch the music video with shedding a tear, haha

Mai B

i have two new recommendations! "spirits of the sea" by kenshi yonezu is mindblowing! i also love aimyon - check out "愛を伝えたいだとか" :)

Aldin Shalahuddin

is twice new single considered as jpop?, because i want to see your reaction about their double single.

Melon Bread

You really ought to check out Miura Daichi--he's a phenomenal soloist with an incredibly diverse catalogue. His videos are a bit few and far between but the choreo video he did with Koharu Sugiwara is a good start. I'd like to see more soloist reactions because a lot of Jpop fan culture is centered around the 48 groups or Johnny's (not so much anymore). But IMO the strongest and most memorable artists in Japan are soloists.

Nana art thing

can you pls react to Babymetal? they are a j-pop/heavy metal group :)

Blair (Rinzler)

I would love to see more Keyaki. I think you would enjoy a lot of their songs and videos.

Best reaction i have seen from you. Good job.

As a fan of Keyakizaka46, I have followed since their debut. Black sheep is their best song so far in my mind, their debut song Silent Majority and 3th single Futari Saison are great, I recommend PD to check them out too. Some girls left Keyaki in 2019, so this group is now in a difficult period, and perhaps no such good works will appear in this year.
