The screams were from Irene!! In their vlive they mentioned they all tried the scream, and the producers liked Irene’s the best for the song

I also really didnt like it at first, and honestly I'm still iffy about it. The song and mv are like peekaboo but the styling seems more like bad boy. But as a side note, check out the mini album so good is well... so good :)

I know you said you kind of didn’t like the bridge but that’s actually my favorite part! The rest of the song sounded kind of messy? to me but it’s growing on me. Also, Irene did the high pitched scream :-)

Yeah I wasn't a fan of this song. Seemed like the song was all over the place and didn't have a clear vision on what it wanted to be. Red Velvet songs usually have an identity and I don't know what this song is trying to be. On top of that, I felt like there were no memorable lyrics or verses. Most of the song is them singing harmonies and ahhs, oohs, really bad boy over and over again. Disappointed with the title track for sure. The rest of the album suffers from what I feel power up suffered from. There are some good songs but I feel like none of the songs on the album are memorable.
