She wasn't on P48 but on Kpop Star 6! ^^ I think they gave her a solo because JYP and YG continuously praised her abilities/potential to go solo and she is the most known member due to the show. I agree with you, I never was a big fan of her voice but it worked fine for the song (I love this song!) but she is a great performer and you can't see it much in the MV but her dancing is what elevated the song for me (I first saw this as a live stage) the music video was another cherry on top for me!

I'm so glad you liked her! She is actually popular in Korea from her time on Kpopstar. She was a runner up on the final season, and JYP cried over her a few times! ELRIS is definitely a bubblegum pop type of group, but I truly believe that is a marketing device. I think the agenda is to build them a large native fanbase before breaking the girls into concepts they'd like to pursue more. This is actually working, and they have a decent Korean fanbase (compared to many of rookie groups). These girls are very talented in ELRIS, and the reason I love them is because they have someone not every group has. They have true bonds together as a group. They remind me of Apink (minorly because Monotree produced their first two mini albums) and they are the type to play off each other well! In a lot of their vlogs and vlives, you can find them in the corner playing as other members play! I really believe these girls will go far!
